MOSCOW, March 20 — RIA Novosti. The Su-35 fighter stopped the violation of the Russian border by two B-52N strategic bombers of the US Air Force over the Baltic Sea, the National Defense Control Center reported.
"On the twentieth of March, the radar of the air defense duty forces of the Western Military District detected two air targets flying in the direction of the state border of Russia over the Baltic Sea. The targets are classified as two B-52H strategic bombers of the US Air Force," the statement said.
Peskov spoke about contacts with the United States on the situation with the drone

It is noted that in order to identify and prevent violation of the state border of the Russian Federation, a Su-35 fighter from the air defense duty forces of the Western Military District was lifted into the air. After that, the crew of the fighter took the established duty zone in the air.
"After the removal of foreign military aircraft from the state border of the Russian Federation, the Russian fighter returned to the home airfield," the National Center said.
It is emphasized that the flight of the Russian fighter was carried out in strict accordance with international rules for the use of airspace. Violation of the state border of the Russian Federation is not allowed.
