English:

It depends also on who calls themselves Vlah. There are people who consider themselves Vlach but do not even speak well the language which they link their identity to.
Fact remains that a romanian who knows also the old way of speaking and not only the modern language cand understand 100% the "vlach" language.

What reason do you have to believe me?
This fellow Janko has not written a word in what he claims to be his mother tongue. Why is that?

La revedere!

I do not want to tell you guys that the vlahs are Romanian as a nation. They are romanian as an ethnic comunity.

Zirica says further abova that Romania fears that if it recognizes Kosovo then the magyars will ask for independence in Transilvania.. That is so naive that it makes me laugh. If that is what you guys know of Romania then you know very little.

Transilvania has a multi-milion population of which only about 20% are magyars... And these guys are concentrated mostly in the eastern part and in the large cities. So they are so inter-mixed that there is no chance of an ethnically homogenous Transilvania. All these guys want is at best an autonomous status for the region the so-called Szekely (descendants of the medieval east-transilvanian magyar speaking border guards).

There is no possibility of a Kosovo in Romania, so you are utterly mistaken to think so. Romania has supported Serbia because it wants to ensure that this whole damned region has a stable future inside the EU, to have peace and civilization for the region which has been an open war front for centuries.
Minority rights for the ethnic comunities is a sign of understanding that self-awareness is not dependent on keeping others in check. A proud ethnos does not fear it's ethnic minorities, it interests them in common development as citizens of a common nation...

Sir,
I was hoping that - what you said, is a true nature of Romania`s government intentions !
But until the president or some minister came here and with ours, on TV explains it to the people - Live, if it is possible, thus encouraging further relations between Serbia and Romania and mutual respect of minorities in both states, and settling down question of Vlachs in East Serbia and their rights and obligations there can not be understanding between our nations.
Cordially yours,
S.

Another way in which the Slavs influenced the language of the Dacians of that time was pronunciation. Remembering that the Slavs had adopted the Latin spoken in that region, it is apparent that they would speak this second language with a quite heavy accent. The Romanian of today is pronounced somewhat differently than all of the other languages in its family. An example of pronunciation change that Niculescu gives is the yodization or palatalization of initial /e/ in the personal pronouns. Initial /e/ in most words is pronounced the same as in all Romance languages, but in the personal pronouns the sound has been palatalized, causing it to have an initial /y/ sound. So the word el (he) is pronounced /yel/ (49). Almost all of the linguists and historians who have studied this topic "uphold the idea that the Balkan and Slavic elements contributed to rounding off the individuality of Romanian as a Romance language" (Niculescu 48 ) .[/INDENT]

Serbian (Serbian Cyrillic: Српски, Serbian Latin: Srpski, pronounced [ˈsr̩pskiː]) is a standardized form of the Shtokavian dialect of Serbo-Croatian used as an official language of Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Kosovo.[6] The same subdialect of Shtokavian is also the basis for the mutually intelligible standards of Croatian, Bosnian, and Montenegrin.[7] Indeed, in Bosnia and Herzegovina, "Croatian", "Bosnian", and "Serbian" are considered to be three names for the same official language.

= A word used to describe someone who has serbian herritage, DNA studies show a large portion posess traces of Turkish origin, most likely due to 400 years of ottoman rule and "intergration" over their country. The word Serb/Srb comes from the latin servus or slave.

Ovi new age velikorumuni kao i naš herceg-babo Hroboatos - najpre pišu po Vi(hendi)kipediji a onda obleću po forumima citirajući Vikipediju.

Svaka čast za entuzijazam. :super:

(Robert Gordon Latham http://books.google.com/books?pg=PA186&dq):

A i one gornje rekonstruckije o nazivu Vlah.

Sva tri su proizvodi maste. I to dosta naivne i neobavestene maste. Nemaju nikakvu naucnu opravdanost.

Ajd', prestanite vec jednom!
