As an Englishman I am outraged at the suggestion that we never see the Sun. I can categorically assure you that the Sun did make a brief appearance one afternoon last August....about 2.15pm. It lasted for at least 10 minutes!

I know how you feel.All the tourist who visit Wyoming constantly complain about the wind; usually saying the same thing, "Does the wind always blow like that?"The nerve!There was that day, 11 June 1994, when there was no wind for almost ten minutes.People fell down, because they were use to leaning into the wind to get anywhere.

The sun is a complete waste of time. It only comes out in the day when it’s already light anyway.

Speaking as an Englishman of no fixed sanity, may I just point out that: "Hot weather attracts foreigners..."

You lucky b'stard,10 minutes of sun. I have lived all my life in Northern Ireland and there is so little sun we don't even have a word for it.
