According to a Pentagon report, due records of weapons worth about $ 715 million were not properly recorded and there were cases of storage violations.
So, nearly 4,100 weapons, including grenade launchers and machine guns, were stored in unprotected containers at the US base in Kuwait. Due to violation of the rules for storage of weapons, some of them were damaged and covered with rust.
The Pentagon report noted that the facility’s personnel “did not sell or recycle” the equipment received, which led to overcrowding of the storage facility. A violation of the rules of accounting for weapons could lead to damage to equipment and duplication of purchases.

“We understand that the assembly takes place according to some schemes and patterns. And someone who owns these technologies helps terrorist groups, ”said the representative of the Ministry of Defense.
