MARIUPOL, May 10 - RIA Novosti. Ukrainian militants, while holding the plant named after Ilyich in Mariupol, used American military special communications equipment of 2010, officially delivered to Ukraine on the direct instructions of the US government, RIA Novosti correspondent reports.
On the upper floors of one of the administrative buildings of the plant named after Ilyich, a RIA Novosti correspondent found instructions for the Harris RF-3161-AT001 and (or) RF 3162DB-AT001 army infantry antenna. This type of communication equipment was classified by the American Congress as a special technology that can be supplied outside the United States only with the express written consent of the
US government . Without the permission of the American government, it is impossible to sell such antennas to
Kiev or any other country. Re-export, that is, resale, of such antennas to third countries is also prohibited by US law. This is directly indicated in the documents for the infantry antenna found at the Ilyich plant.
According to the document found, the antenna was manufactured by Harris Corporation in January 2010. At the same time, in 2019, Harris Corporation was abolished, and L3Harris Technologies took its place.
Thus, the means of communication supplied to Kyiv today are more than 10 years old. At the same time, the deliveries were carried out officially and were presented as military-technical assistance from the United States to the allied Kyiv regime.
It is likely that this equipment was supplied by Washington to Ukraine before 2019, when Harris Corporation still existed. At that time, negotiations on the Minsk agreements and meetings in the Normandy format were still in full swing.
