Da, na to sam i mislio. Nadam se da ce Rampage dobiti priliku da osvoji pojas u UFC-u, a Chuck priliku da se osveti za poraz sa Pride GP-a. Problem bi mogao nastati ako Tito Ortiz pobedi Chucka u mecu za titulu 30.12.2006, u tom slucaju Rampage nece moci da napadne titulu, jer trenira zajedno sa Titom i rekao je da se nece boriti protiv njega.Reaktivac:

Slazem se. Tesko ce Tito protiv Chucka. Rampage...vidjecemo... Po meni je njegova najbolja faza iza njega (veliki okrsaji sa Silvom i pobjeda nad Aronom), ali nikad se ne zna... Osobno bi volio da Quinton okaci pojas, mada sumnjam...
Primjecujem da se kod vas manje-vise svi drze teme i to je dobro.

Couture outlines fight plan for Ortiz, eyes return to octagon if Tito succeeds
To hear Tito Ortiz tell it, he didn't get a fair shake in his April 2004 showdown with Chuck Liddell.
After a first round in which Ortiz held his own against "The Iceman," a finger from a Liddell strike clipped Ortiz in the eye, and it was literally lights out for the former light heavyweight champion. His vision was impaired, and Liddell capitalized with an onslaught of blows that ended the bout at 38 seconds of the second frame.
At UFC 66, Ortiz (15-4) gets his long-awaited chance to prove that the loss to Liddell was an aberration. Trainer Saul Soliz commented yesterday on Brawl Sports that Ortiz is on track to enter the fight in the best shape of his career. The challenger also comes into the bout riding a five-fighting winning streak, although he hasn't faced the same caliber of competition that's been in front of Liddell (19-3) since the '04 face-off.
Style-wise, Liddell-Ortiz 2 is straightforward. Liddell wants to find his range, pick his shots, trade with Ortiz and drop his right-hand bomb. It worked the first time around, and his last eight victories have come via knockout or TKO.
For perspective on the Ortiz fight plan, we turn to a guy who knows a thing or two about beating both Ortiz and Liddell - "The Natural" Randy Couture.
"Tito has to be willing to step in and exchange and get Chuck to throw enough punches to try and hit him and then be able to protect himself, slip and move and then execute the transition and takedown off of that engagement."
"I don't think the knockout (by Liddell) will come through that engagement. I think the knockout will come if you stand around in front of Chuck and try to stay out of range. He's long and rangy and uses his long jab to set up his right hand. He likes that slower tempo where he can place his shots and get to you that way. I think it's a lot riskier to stay outside and not engage. No way around it, you're going to get hit, and Tito's got to make friends with that. If he stays outside and lets Chuck use his range, he's probably going to get knocked out."
Couture believes the more Ortiz can press Liddell, utilize his cardio edge and extend the fight into rounds three, four and five, the better chance he has at upsetting the champion.
"Absolutely ... the more he makes Chuck work; the more he makes Chuck swing and miss and swing and even if he hits him ... in those flurries of engagement, I don't think you'll see the knockout shot. You'll see Tito then be able to transition through that flurry of engagement and take the fight to the ground, which again, is ultimately going to make Chuck work to get back up to his feet, which he does very well. Tito's going to have to do that repeatedly; round after round."
That's the blueprint Couture employed to beat Liddell at UFC 43, when Liddell was frustrated by the constant pressure. However, Couture couldn't duplicate that success in two rematches. Liddell's takedown defense and freakish ability to get back to his feet once pinned or cornered is legendary.
If "The Iceman" brings his "A" game Dec. 30, he'll likely make it 2-0 against Ortiz, and Couture picks the champ to repeat. However, the hall-of-famer might just be pulling for Ortiz to spring the upset.
"If Tito finds a way to beat Chuck, I'm going to have to come out of retirement and give Tito a whack."
Asked if he was serious about lacing up the gloves again to fight Ortiz, Couture responded with an emphatic "absolutely."

So far Pride has only announced officially the presence of Wanderlei Silva in the second edition of Pride USA, scheduled February 24, in Las Vegas. However, Dan Henderson jumped ahead and said on his website that he will also take part in the event that will be held at the Thomas & Mack Events Center.

Dan je faca ! Kao borac je veoma dobar , atraktivan i voli da se pobije . Bio je u ringu sa skoro svima ja ga mnogo cenim . Bilo bi zanimljivo da ga upare sa Misakijem za titulu , mislim to ce se desiti sigurno samo ne znam kada , ne verujem da ce biti u Americi . . .
I ja volim Dana, kao uostalom i celu Team Quest ekipu. Meni je Randy bio i ostao omiljeni NHB borac, no ipak, nisam bas siguran koliko je pametno da se vraca iz penzije... Mozda je vreme da ipak borci poput Nate-a Quarry-a i Henda pedstavljaju tim kao vrhunski borci.

The biggest of those announcements is expected to be the UFC’s acquisition of Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic, the 2006 Open Weight Grand Prix champion. Sherdog.com reported that Filipovic’s signing will be revealed on the pay-per-view with his first opponent slated as Eddie Sanchez. MMAWeekly sources have indicated that the fight will take place on February 3rd on the UFC 67 fight card, which is already slated to feature two title fights, and most likely Quinton Jackson’s UFC debut.
In addition to the Filipovic signing, MMAWeekly sources have confirmed that Heath Herring has signed a five-fight deal with the UFC.

Izgleda da ce UFC 66 razreshiti nedoumice. Ako je Mirko potpisao za UFC, tu ce biti predstavljen kao novo pojacanje.
Teska kategorija u UFC-u je jezivo dosadna; Mirko ni u UFC-u nece odmah dobiti title shot, vec tek u trecem mechu - toliko je mogao i da saceka Fjodora; morace da se navikava na oktagon umesto ringa; a cak i ako osvoji UFC pojas, broj jedan ce i dalje biti Fjodor Jemeljanjenko. Publika na UFC-u je ocajna, gomila pijanih likova, koji u jednoj ruci drze pivo, a drugom pokusavaju da potapsu borce dok idu ka oktagonu, dok ribe ponosno pokazuju silikone pred kamerama Veoma netolerantna publika, zvizde svemu sto nema americku zastavu. djoni i oni su preuzeli vest sa famoznog SHERDOGa ! Ja ne verujem dok ne cujem Mirka da izadje u javnost i kaze ! Jos uvek verujem da pregovori traju , sada se govori po forumima da su Mirkove slike u Japanu u stvari slike iz Las Vegasa :? ?!? Pride je potpisao konacno taj famozni TV ugovor sa nekim koreancima ili kime vec, tako su dobili oko 14 miliona USD ( valjda tako nesto ) verujem da ce odredjeni deo otici u Mirkov dzep . Ako kojim slucajem Mirko predje u UFC ja bih se licno razocarao , mislim nisam emotivno vezan za njega , ali Pride bi izgubio sjajnog borca famozni revans Fedor - Mirko milioni ljubitelja MMA sirom sveta nece videti ,u UFCu konkurenciju ne bi imao i bilo bi dosadno ,a u Pride-u bi ostalo jos par boraca koji su mu ostali duzni i sa kojima bi bilo lepo videti revanse . . .
