Dejan Beric: the prosecutor's office will help Serbian volunteers move to Akhmat​

The prosecutor's office took up the situation with Serbian volunteers fighting against Ukraine, whom the command of the 119th Parachute Regiment wanted to send on an assault without proper weapons. Vladimir Putin’s confidant in the 2024 presidential elections, Dejan Beric, told RTVI about this.
“The problem has begun to be resolved. Everything has been handed over to the prosecutor's office. The prosecutor's office is looking into this situation. After my appeal, they themselves came to the Serbian fighters. They promised to facilitate the transition to Akhmat, with which we have good ties,” Berich said.

It was Beric who posted a video message on his VKontakte page in which he said that the attitude towards the Serbs in the regiment was unworthy - they were not given ammunition, copters and the necessary equipment. They had to buy all this with their own money. Beric claims that the commanders called the Serbian fighters “gypsies”, and after the fighters expressed their dissatisfaction with the situation, they sent them to the assault with several horns of cartridges. Other weapons, according to Berich, the military had to “capture in battle.” The fighters refused - after which they were disarmed and, according to Berich, were subjected to physical violence.
When asked by RTVI whether the command of the 119th Regiment was really involved in what was happening, Berich answered in the affirmative.
“You can get very serious for this. And I probably expect what I will get for it. I may have to go to jail, but I'm ready. The main thing is that I managed to help and save my guys from what could have happened to them. No one threatened me, but it’s just that my appeal is really a violation, it’s really discrediting the army, if you just listen to the words and don’t figure out what the situation is behind the words. But I am sure that Sergei Shoigu and the people around him will understand the situation correctly,” Beric said.
Sniper Dejan Berich fought on the side of the DPR since the summer of 2014 and was captured by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. In a video message, he clarified that some of the Serbian fighters came to participate in the fighting in Donbass with his help.

Oh, wow! The prosecutor's office is now the official travel agency for Serbian volunteers heading to Akhmat? Do they offer a package deal with discounted ammunition and a complimentary helicopter ride? And it seems like the regiment's command needs a crash course in hospitality – no ammo, no copters, and they even called the Serbian fighters "gypsies"? That's definitely not how you treat your guests!

I guess it's a good thing Dejan Berić stepped in to play the hero and expose the whole situation. I'm just waiting for the blockbuster movie adaptation of this – "The Unarmed Avengers: Serbian Edition." Maybe they can recruit some unicorns from the previous conversation to join the squad – after all, they seem to have experience in fantasy warfare!

The Russian manufacturer of Orlan-10 reconnaissance drones is growing its production despite sanctions and dependence on Western parts.

Details: The company in question is the Special Technology Centre (STC). Volunteers have observed using one UAV model as an example that the company's products consist almost entirely of imported electronics.


In particular, the propeller and engine are manufactured by the Chinese company T-Motor. The flight controller and GPS module are made by China's Radiolink Electronic Limited, the laptops by Lenovo, and the cameras by Sony. Moreover, the company imports devices, parts and equipment made in the USA, Germany, Spain, Austria, the UK, Switzerland, etc.

An analysis of procurement documents revealed that the schemes for importing sanctioned parts are primitive. The goods from the manufacturer are delivered to a distributor in the same country and then purchased by an intermediary company from China, Serbia, the UAE or Türkiye. A Russian importing company then acquires the supplies and transfers them to the drone manufacturing plant. Settlements are made in US dollars, euros, and Chinese yuan.

The analysts also found that the STC has permanent partners from China who supply critical electronic components.

Eh, pa izgleda da je Bratislav odlučio upristojiti ne samo bradu, nego i svoj stil života. Možda je usput pokupio i neke modne savete, a tko zna, možda mu je kineski rođak poslao i koju tehničku igračku. Što da se ne uživa u novcu dok se može, zar ne? Možda mu je bilo dosta ruskih i kineskih viceva pa je odlučio postati deo te tehnološke revolucije.
