At one of our cheapest gas stations close to where we live in Houston, Texas the price has gone up to $3.29 a gallon. It's never been this expensive at this particular brand name station. Still not too bad compared to the higher priced stations and other locations in the US. Groceries have nearly doubled in price if not doubled. We just spent $448.46 for groceries and a few cleaning supplies and that's buying mostly off brand items for a household of two. Thankfully we have been blessed to be able to pay for it but my husband will retire soon and I've been unable to work because of illness. It is scary. I hate it for people who are poor and are on a fixed income with prices going up so much on everything. We give as much as we can to help others. Prayers for the Russian and Ukrainian people.
Hi Dan and family! Your daughter is adorable! I am from Texas and as far as I am concerned all people are created equal. Thank you for the gasoline prices. They are very cheap for you guys! We are paying much much more. In some states they are paying as much as $5.00 for 1gallon of gasoline. Here in Texas we are paying about $3.50 for a gallon. Our prices should be much less but our president made a bad deal for the country. It was very nice to have a tour of your living space. Thank you!
Hi, Dan, petrol in Australia (in the cities) is roughly three times as expensive as yours. A lot of tax is included in this cost. Your country's excursion into your neighbour has kicked it up about 10% in the last week, but we are expecting it will go up again soon, maybe another 20%. Russia is a big producer of energy, so your prices might remain more stable than ours. Stay safe, and protect your family.
Hi, Dan. I’m in Southern California, outside of Los Angeles, and we are over $5.00 per gallon now for all three types of Octane. It’s gotten pretty bad over the last couple of days, especially. California has some of the has the highest taxes on gasoline (and pretty much everything else). What can you do, except, keep working, and keep doing your best? Thanks for your videos!
In Calgary, Alberta, Canada gas prices have gone up in the last 3-4 months by around 15-20%. Regular gas 87 was $1.25 3-4 months ago, but today it is $1.56
Washington State USA gas prices today, (Shell and Chevron gas stations) Minimum Wage here is $14.49/hr 87 = $4.49/gal 89 = $4.59/gal 92 = $4.79/gal This is with a 10% ethanol additive, most gas stations in WA state only offer ethanol (cheaper, but gets less mpg) Edit: for reference, 2 weeks ago. Prices were about .30 - .40c a gallon less. $4.09 was the cheapest gas in town, today it's $4.24 at the cheap filling station. Propane gas is at $2.49/ gal, up from $1.99 last summer.
