1. The stars in a constellation are sometimes thousands of light-years apart and the connection between them is arbitrary.
2. When you were born your obstetrician had more gravitational effect on you than any planet or star in the universe.
3. There are 13 constellations in the Zodiac (not 12). The 13th is Ophiuchus.
4. The Zodiac was established around 2000 years ago. Since then the Zodiac has shifted one sign along, however the traditional dates for each sign haven't changed. i.e. The Zodiac sign that you were born "under" is meant to be the constellation that the sun was in front-of during your birth. So if you are a Gemini, the chances are that Cancer was actually behind the sun during your birth (due to the 2000 year shift in the Zodiac).
5. The natal planet alignment is futile since the time-of-birth is often arbitrarily chosen (i.e. the doctor/nurses may get the hour right, but not necessarily the minutes).
6. Are all horoscopes done before the discovery of the outermost planets incorrect? Planets get found, demoted and promoted all the time. Pluto was identified and became a planet in 1930. It was demoted to "dwarf planet" in 2006. Ceres was a planet in the 1800s and then demoted to asteroid in the 1850s and has now been promoted to dwarf planet again. Xena was discovered in 2003 and became a planet and in 2006 was demoted to dwarf planet. What's more - Pluto doesn't follow the zodiac path like the other planets (i.e. it will sometimes be in front of non-zodiac constellations.
7.If the planets influence us astrologically why is this influence independent of distance? Mars is sometimes the other side of the sun from us and sometimes it is the same side as us, yet this difference has no astrological effect on us.
8. If distances aren't important in astrology, then where's the astrology of galaxies, quasars, nebulae and black-holes?
9. Why do horoscopes of the same zodiac sign in different newspapers differ so much?
10. Why is the moment of birth, rather than conception, crucial for astrology? Why does a thin layer of flesh and blood protect a baby from the planets/stars/sun/moon...a
nd if not then why do premature babies not have different star-charts than non-prem babies born at the same time on the same day?

1. The Zodiac is only superficially using the constellations which, by the way, aren't the real celestial bodies. Zodiac's not made on the premise model of the constellations. The Constellations are only vividly used to portray certain aspects of the sky itself, but each is divided to a precise 30 degree and twelve parts making up the full circle of 360 degrees of Earth's ecliptic. The Zodiac is made upon the fundamentals of Fire, Earth, Air and Water (in that Order) repeating itself for three times. Basically, it's as remote to the constellations as possible.
2. While the mechanism for Astrology's not known, there's a certain scientific aspect to it which does produce the results in the comparison of the celestial body placements in relation to the human behavior. The lack of mechanism is not the reason to diss astrology simply because there're results regardless of the method which is used to come to it. Due to the complexity and the human aspect, proper experiments were never conducted.
3. Zodiac Signs are not the same as Constellations. This is a common misconception by people who don't know how Zodiac works.
4. The Zodiac was Established long before the Christ. Zodiac never Shifted because it's not modified by the axial precession. Ephemeris do follow certain axial precession though, but the Zodiac signs remain completely in tact. Yet another common mistake by the ignorant.
5. The best time, astrology-wise, is exactly at the moment the Baby breathes Air and is separated from mother. While arbitrary, a maximum four minutes are taken into the account before the significant change can occur in the person, psychology-wise.
6. The Ancient Sumerians knew for the rest of the celestial bodies in the Solar System. Stating that Pluto's not a planet means nothing in terms of it's presence and continuous observation. In astrology, planets are not the only factors taken into the account and astrology's not going to succumb to the mere notions.
7. Nobody states that the effect is directly connected to the distance of the planets, yet there is a significance to the velocity, size, speed and distance in terms of a direct physical proportions on the planet Earth's inhabitants, land and overall flora and fauna.
8. There is a basis of the astrology called Era which signifies a major event of changes taking up to 2500 years to complete. Currently, we're at the transition from the Pisces and Aquarious Era. Era's go in reverse order. Aquarious Era signifies the technological advancement and colonization of "up", i.e. Space itself.
9. Newspaper Horoscopes are not really horoscopes to begin with. It's a common misconception thanks to the media format.
10. The genes also play an important role in the astrology. The same-day born babies will not have the same-day born parents and even if they did, they'd lead a pretty much similar life. There're cases of the same-day born people who never knew for each other and led pretty much the same life. That aside, the baby's part of the mother for as long as it's in the stomach and connected by umbilical cord or, rather, for as long as it doesn't breathe the air itself. This proved to be correct in the astrology to the point of determinism.
