Steven Erikson - pravo ime Steve Rune Lundin, kanadski pisac, antropolog i arheolog autor je...prilicno zanimljivog EF serijala
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malazan_Book_of_the_Fallen
"Erikson has stated explicitly that he enjoys playing with and overturning the conventions of fantasy, presenting characters that violate the stereotypes associated with their roles. Erikson deliberately began the Malazan Book of the Fallen series mid-plot rather than beginning with a more conventional narrative.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steven_Erikson#cite_note-sffw-interview-5 Erikson's style of writing includes complex plots with masses of characters. In addition, Erikson has been praised for his willingness to kill central characters when it enhances the plot."
Kod nas je preveden i objavljen tek prvi dio:
"Mesecevi vrtovi" u izdanju Lagune

Zanimljivosti;
- serijal je nastao iz scenarija za RPG igricu po D&D modelu koji se postupno...razvio u roman...hmm...
- "In the late 1990s, Transworld – a division of Random House – bought Gardens of the Moon and requested Erikson write additional books in the series. Using the history of the Malazan world he created with Esslemont, Erikson plotted nine additional novels. After the publication of Gardens of the Moon, reviews spread via the internet, and Orion publications attempted to lure Erikson away from Transworld. However, Transworld retained an option on additional novels in the series and offered £675,000 for the remaining nine books of the series."
"Steven Erikson wrote Gardens of the Moon as a novel in the period 1991-92 but it was not published until 1999. In the meantime, he wrote several non-fantasy novels. When he sold Gardens of the Moon, he agreed to a contract for an additional nine volumes in the series. The contract with Bantam UK was worth £675,000http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malazan_Book_of_the_Fallen#cite_note-guardian1-10, making it "among the largest fees ever paid for a fantasy series"
Ako se bude drzao ovog sto je do sada ponudio;
nelinearne radnje...solidnih zapleta...intrigantnih likova
i zanimljivo koncipiranog...svijeta....
