* 6 passport size photos for you and your dependents each: taken against a plain white background, the photographs must measure between 25 mm and 35 mm (1" and 1 3/8") from chin to crown;
* Written evidence of your language proficiency in English or/and French:
Subsections 79(1) of the Regulations require that Skilled Worker applicants either have their proficiency in English and/or French assessed by an organization or institution designated under subsection (3) or provide other evidence in writing of their proficiency in those languages. Subsection 79(2) requires that the assessment or other written evidence be used to assign a score based on the Canadian Language Benchmarks for the English language and Les Standards Linguistiques Canadiens for the French language.
The approved English testing organization in your area may be located by consulting the website for IELTS, the International English Language Testing System. Their website address is:
http://www.ielts.org/ The required IELTS test is the general one, not the academic one. Test results must be forwarded to us directly by the testing centre, not via the applicant or their representative. Photocopies will not be accepted.
In order to establish your point score for French proficiency you have the option of submitting language test results from an organization approved under subsection 79(3) of the Regulations.
French language testing organizations : The Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry administers the Test d’Évaluation de Français (TEF).
Note: For CIC purposes, applicants must submit results for the following tests of the TEF modules: compréhension écrite (reading); compréhension orale (listening); expression écrite (writing); expression orale (speaking). You are requested to take both the tests: the test obligatoire as well as the test facultatif. The lexique et structure (grammar and structure) test is not required for Canadian immigration purposes. However, test candidates take it as part of the reading and listening module.

Please submit photocopies of documents unless otherwise indicated. Any documents you plan to submit which are not in one of Canada’s official languages must be accompanied by a certified translation by an accredited translator. Submit all the documents together in one package to the Immigration Section, (Laurenzerberg 2/3, A-1010 Vienna, Austria) . Submitting documents separately will delay the processing of your application. Be sure to write your file number on any documents that you send.
This request is made pursuant to subsection 16(1) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act which states that a person who makes an application must produce all relevant evidence and documents that the officer reasonably requires. The requested information may be relevant for my determination as to whether or not you meet the selection and statutory requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act and Regulations. If the requested information is not provided, I may not be satisfied that you meet the selection and admissibility requirements. Therefore, if you fail to comply with this request, your application may be refused.
If your application is refused, you will be able to reapply, but you will also be required to submit a new application and pay a new processing fee. Any new application will be assessed according to the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act and Regulations in force at the time that the new application is submitted.
If you are no longer interested in immigrating to Canada and you wish to withdraw your application, please contact the Canadian Embassy Vienna, Immigration Section (Laurenzerberg 2/3, A-1010 Vienna, Austria) to confirm your mailing information and bank account details, and we will return your full application fee.
Your response indicating that you either wish to withdraw your application or that you wish to proceed with your application, accompanied by the information requested above, must be received at this address within 90 days from the date of this letter.
