I know you do not know how I was, but just think of me. A photograph, something. For a mother's love is the greatest protection.
Remember, I love you, and so does James. We gave our lives for you. We want for you to stop dwelling on the past, or what the future will bring. Just focus on now. What is right here, with you. Think of consequences, yes, but never dwell on them.
Galleons of Love,
Your Mother,
Lily Evans-Potter
P.S.-R.A.B. is S.O.B.'s D.E. B.R.O.
Harry looked up from the letter with tears in his eyes. His mother had tried to reach out to him beyond the grave. But what did the last note mean? R.A.B. stuck out a him like a dot in stripes, but what about the rest? He should simply do as Hermione does, and research it later.
He stood up, and shook the dirt off of his now messy jeans, and took a final look at his parents' final resting place. He studied his father's, wondering if he, too, had something for him to learn. Harry took a lasting glance at the burials, and spun around on his heel.
As he turned, though, he could have sworn that he saw a deer-like figure wink at him. He shrugged this off, and wondered if it was the heat doing this to him. He trudged out of the cemetary, and back into the muggle taxi that he had rented for this occasion.
Climbing up the steps to his Aunt and Uncle's house, he sworn her heard someone weeping inside. He cautiously stepped through the front door, and saw who was crying. It was his Aunt Petunia, dressed in her Sunday best. She was crouched below the small end-table near the couch. She was looking at something in her lap, although Harry couldn't see what it was, and was weeping terribly, her long blonde hair shaking with every gasp. Apparently, she wasn't aware of Harry's presence.
Harry coughed to get her attention. At this, she automatically stopped, and turned to face him. He could see the tear stains around her blood-shot eyes. "I-I was just cleaning," she stuttered and marched out of the room. She unnoticably, had left the end-table drawer open, and whatever she had been looking at, was still visible.
Harry marched torward it and picked it up. He gasped it shock when he saw what it was.
It was a picture of his mother, when she was about Harry's age. She was standing beside a very-tired looking James, who had his arm wrapped around her waist. Harry was even more shocked, when the picture started moving. Apparently, this was a wizarding picture. James grabbed Lily around the middle and lifted her into his arms. She giggled, and gave him a kiss.
More to Harry's amazement, she was a little bit fat. But in all of her other pictures, she was a normal-sized girl. What was wrong with this?
"She was pregnant," said a voice from the doorway, and Harry realized that Petunia was once again present. "In her seventh year. With that Potter's child." She said this with a sad sort of voice. "But it was miscarried, as I understood that you almost were. It died in a Death Eater attack." She looked at the floor. Then she glanced up at Harry, who was still in amazement.
Petunia tried to pick out the right words to say. "I never really hated Lily. We just... grew apart, I guess. She was an amazing person...She could always make me laugh, whenever I was down." She cast a quick smile. "But then when school was over, she had a choice." Her smiled quickly faded. "It was either that she could live with me or your father. Being the love-sick person she was, she chose him, and I loathed her for it."
Harry spoke up, for the first time. "But why? Why do you treat me the way you do, when its my mother you're mad at?" His anger was bottling up quickly, as he looked at his aunt, who had regained her mean composure.
She was flared. She stood up, red in the face."Because you, YOU are the outcome of her decision! YOU are one of the reasons why she wouldn't come see her sister! YOU kept her too busy to visit!" And with that, she took a mad dash out of the sitting room, leaving Harry alone.
Harry, himself, dashed up to his room, trying to sort out his thoughts. This was too much too soon. He looked over at his owl, Hedwig. She hooted in her cage. "Hedwig, things are starting to get complicated." And with that, Harry strode over to his bed, plopped down, and went into a dreamless sleep.
Harry Potter and the Green Eye Secret
Chapter Two:
Harry was awoken by a small crash and a scream from downstairs. He quickly pulled on his clothes and scrambled into the hallway. There stood a slightly tiring wizard in long, billowing robes, and had slightly graying hair on his head.

His hand was grasped by a younger looking witch, with short spiky pink hair. They were facing the Dursleys, who, for the exception of Petunia, were crouched behind the couch. Petunia was looking worriedly at the man, and timidly said,"I-I know you, d-don't I?"
The man smiled, and nodded, then outstretched his hand, which Petunia just looked at. "My name is Remus Lupin. I was a friend of your sister's. I believe we met in the winter holidays of her seventh year." He took a glance at Petunia, who was still frightened as ever. "Pleasure meeting you again!" He turned to Vernon and Dudley, who whimpered. He shrugged, then turned to the doorway. Apparently he was aware of the presence of Harry. The woman known as Nymphadora Tonks turned also.
"Why hello, Harry."said Lupin, who gave him a short hug, something that he had never done before. Harry timidly stepped away, and looked at Tonks, who just smiled at him. "Wotcher, Harry!" was her welcome.
Lupin looked at the Dursleys, and gave a short speech. "Harry shall be taken with us for necessary safety provisions. As he will turn legal age, whilst he is in our company, I think it best if you say a final goodbye now, while we go pack his trunk."
Harry looked at the Dursleys. "Er, thanks. For, um, letting me stay, you know. You really didn't have to. You could've...thrown me out into the streets, but you didn't. Although you treated me...harsh, I appreciate it. And, if you ever...need me...just ask. I'll help you in any way I can. Although I doubt you will,"he finished in a regretful tone.
Petunia looked at Harry in the same way that she was caught looking at Lily's photograph. But in an instant, she snapped out of it, and returned to her hateful gaze. She nodded. "Goodbye, then."she said with her snobbish voice. She nudged Vernon, who sighed. "'Bout time,"was his reply. Dudley looked at his parents who were shooting daggers at him. "Yeah, er...bye, Potter."
At this moment, Remus and Tonks chose to come out of Harry's bedroom, with his trunk and two small boxes floating in midair behind. His trunk contained his school things, so he guessed that the boxes contained his other stuff.
Remus smiled at him, then nodded a goodbye to the Dursleys. "Ready to go, Harry?"
Harry didn't even have time to answer, for he was shoved out of the doorway by Tonks, surprised to see a normal muggle cab waiting for them outside. In an instant, he was swept into the car, and they sped off out of the driveway.
He looked at Tonks, who was now sitting beside him. (Lupin was in the front, next to the cab driver.) "Where are we going?" He was curious to know, as evidently Grimmauld Place wasn't safe anymore.
Tonks smiled. "You're going to stay at our house, until July 1st. That's when we are all going to the Weasley's, for Bill and Fleur's wedding." At them mention of weddingm she looked at Lupin for a split-second. Harry was the only one to notice this, however, for Lupin was currently trying to direct the driver, who apparently was a muggle.
Harry nodded. He looked out the window, and watched blurs and outlines of people and buildings sped through, as though they were works of art painted on a canvas.
A few short moments later, the cab driver pulled up into a very fancy house. It was a Victorian-style house, with elegant windows, with were all sleek and shine. The door was a large one, with a plated silver handle. The roof was laddened with brick, and looked sturdy enough to climb on. Harry gasped, though, for he had never suspected Tonks, let alone Remus, to have such a fancy house.
Tonks frowned. "Although, I am not proud of it, I am still of Black heritage. This used to be my mother's house, before she was disowned."
"Beides, Harry," said Lupin, who had come up behind them, and had placed a hand on Tonk's shoulder. "Its nothing you haven't seen before. Your old house, with your mum and dad, was far more better than this." He smiled. "A dozen house elves used to work in your kitchen, much to your mother's dismay. She always wanted to cook her own food, the muggle way. So her and your dad made a deal. Every Sunday and Friday night was when Lily would cook." He paused and wiped away a tear that had escaped from his eye. "That's why you would always see the whole gang of us in their dining room on those nights. Lily's cooking was from heaven. It was always her, James, me...Sirius...and Peter." A look of hatred flew upon his face. But it quickly disappeared into a smile.
Harry now looked at Lupin's clothes. He had not noticed, but he was no longer wearing shabby, old clothes. He was now wearing what looked like designer wizarding robes. Had Tonks started to handle his expenses? Or had Remus started to find more Wolsfbane potion?
Thing of potions, reminded him of his mother, who was said to be excellent at them.

el si procitala ovo gore?

He then thought of her mystery note, and what it meant. He decided that he should show Lupin, because, after all, he was one of his mother's best friends. Maybe he should even show him the note about R.A.B.
Bur for now, he shouldn't worry about those things. Right now, he had the nect best thing to a real home. He would live, if only temporary, with people who cared. It doesn't even matter if they were ten foot mountain trolls. They cared, and thats all that counts.
Harry Potter and The Green Eye Secret
Chapter Three
Harry was led into the house, by a soft hand of Tonks' being pressed onto the upper part of his back. He was taken into a cozy sitting room, through the hallway at the end of it, and up some stairs. 'I wonder where she's leading me.'thought Harry, as he took some stumbles, after going up some particularly large steps. She steered him into a nearby room, in which sat a four-poster bed, a nightstand, dresser, mirror, and a door.
"This will be your room for now," said Tonks. She pointed to the door. "That's your bathroom. If you need anything, just ask." And with that, she exited the room, with a trace of a faint smile.
Harry glanced around the room. He decided that it was the most beautiful room that he had ever seen. He sat down on his bed, and started to open his trunk. Taking out his clothes, his opened the dresser. Placing his clothes in the first two drawers, he sighed. This will take awhile.
One he had gotten his clothes put away, and his random junk on his nightstand, he went out to find Tonks and Remus. As he was heading down the stairs, to his surprise, it was them that he bumped into.
Lupin smiled. "Harry, we were just coming up to get you. It's dinner time." And with that, Harry followed the couple down the stairs and into the dining room, where they had set up a small dinner for three. This consisted of chicken, mashed potatoes, and corn, along with some other things.
Harry sat down at the small, circular table, and applied some food to his plate. Lupin watched him carefully as he slid a bite of chicken into his mouth. He quickly shrugged off any thought he was having, and he too, started to pile on his plate.
Tonks was too busy eating to notice this. She did notice, however, when soon after, Harry removed himself from the table. She cast a look at Lupin. He shrugged and leaned forward. "I think something's bothering him."
She frowned. "Was it the food? Cause if it was, I could always hire a--" She was cut off by Lupin raising his hand.
"Its not the food. I think something happened to him at the Dursleys, before we got there." Lupin sighed, heavily, and looked down at his plate. "I'll go talk to him later."
Tonks nodded.
Meanwhile, Harry was in his room, examining the notes. Maybe if he could figure out the riddle between them, he could help control his power. He looked at his mother's note. Apparently, she had have to know this R.A.B. person, to have written about him. But maybe she just knew the name.
He was frustrated. Couldn't his mother have explained it to him easier? He was her son, after all. Unless...
Unless she was made to write the letter. Unless she was made to make it a puzzle for him.
That meant that the note could be false. That his eyes were just as plain and ordinary as any other. That there was nothing special about them.
Harry doubted this though, for Dumbledore had always made a big show about how he had his mother's eyes.
Thinking of Dumbledore, Harry choked back a sob.
Maybe it was just the riddle. Maybe she wasn't certain about the charm she placed on the paper. Maybe she put it that way, so that if anyone else found it, especially Death Eaters, they would be puzzled.
Another thought struck Harry.
How did his mother know R.A.B.? Did she know about the note? Does that mean that she was in league with Death Eaters? That she knew about the horcruxes?
Or was it simply a coincidence?
Thoughts of his mother were fresh in his mind, as Lupin softly knocked on the door. "Harry, can I come in?"

Chapter Four
Harry nodded and Lupin stepped inside. He glanced at Harry's unpacked junk all along the dresser. He sighed and took a seat next to Harry, on his bed. He placed a hand on his shoulder, and squeezed it, in a sort of fatherly gesture. "Harry,"he began, taking a look at him, studying him. "When you left dinner after one bite, I suspected that something was up. So, is something wrong?"
Harry pulled out the two notes that he had hidden, as soon as Lupin had stepped inside. He gave him the first one, from R.A.B. "I found these letters, and they really are puzzling me." He pointed to the note in Lupin's hands. "That one was found when I was with Dumbledore. He never knew about it, though."
Lupin studied the note for a few minutes. He withdrew his breath, and looked at Harry. "Your mother knew about horcruxes. She even taught me about them." He looked back at the paper. "So, Voldemort is using holcruxes?" Harry nodded. Lupin rubbed his temples. "Your mother suspected something like this."
The second note, Harry then gave to the man sitting next to him. "This one I found when I was at my parents' graves. It was from mum."
Lupin widened his eyes and read the note. He nodded in certain points, and mumbled under his breath. "Your mum told me this. She told me that this would happen once she died. She knew, of course, that her time would be short." His eyes passed over the post script. "I know what that means," he said, almost at once.
Harry sat up straight in his position. "Would you tell me?" he asked.
Lupin gazed upon him. "But, you must never speak of this to anyone. Only we knew." Harry frowned. "Who was we?" Lupin replied, with a frown. "No one, Harry. Its not important. But, just promise me that you will never tell anyone about this?"
Harry stared at him for a moment. "I promise."
Lupin pointed a skinny finger at the intials. "R.A.B. is--"
"REMUS! HARRY!"
His words were interrupted by a loud call from Tonks, which seemed urgent. Lupin gave Harry an I'll-tell-you-later look, and went down the stairs, Harry in his wake.
They reached Tonks, and immediately saw what she was screaming about. A fairly large orange-red creature was sitting in the sitting room, perched on the table. Its brilliant beak shone with glaze. His feathers were ruffled, apparently it had been flying. Around his foot, was a note, tied with string.
Lupin and Tonks looked at the creature in surprise.
Tonk started,"Is it--?"
"A phoenix,"Remus answered.
Harry gasped in shock. "Fawkes?"
Yes, indeed, Dumbledore's old pet phoenix was now present in the home of Nymphadora Tonks and Remus Lupin, with a letter. Harry wondered what it was, for no one but Dumbledore had ever used Fawkes. He cautiously stepped forward and retrieved the letter from Fawkes' leg.
He ripped open the envelope, with Lupin and Tonks watching. "What is it?" she inquired.
Harry scanned the first few lines of the page. "It's...Dumbledore's will."
Lupin cast a look at Tonks, then went to read over Harry's shoulder.

Harry was shocked, as he never expected for Dumbledore to leave him any of his posessions. Especially Fawkes. He went over and stroked the phoenix's hair. The animal moaned in delight.
It was not long before a large owl, carrying a large package, came soaring through the window.
Chapter Five
The group cautiously stepped torward the box and Harry peeked inside. Afraid that it would be a death eater or worse, Harry had his wand out. He looked inside the box and was relieved that it was only the basin in which Dumbledore had used as his pensieve. He pulled it out and showed it to the adults, who were also relieved.
Taking it up to his room, Harry placed it upon the shelves above his dresser. He would investigate this later. He came back downstairs to Lupin and Tonks, and gave them a small smile. Lupin whispered something into Tonks' ear and she nodded, then stood up and exited the sitting room.
Lupin gestured for Harry to sit down. Harry did as he was messaged and sat down in a cozy armchair by the window. Fawkes perched over and hopped onto the arm of the chair. Harry stroked his long feathers as Lupin began to discuss the matter in which they had previously started.
"Harry. We need to talk about what we discussed earlier."Harry nodded and Lupin went on. "I don't know how to tell you this, but R.A.B. is--"
"Who?" said Harry, anxious to hear the long lost identity about the initials. He sat forward in his chair, his hands clasped on his knees. "Who is it?"
Lupin sighed. "Like I said, it is very hard for me to explain this to you. We knew him. So its very hard." He stroked some of his semi-graying hair. "R.A.B. was an acquaintence of ours."
The teenager in front of him shifted. He was thinking of all the people he knew that started with an R. Ron. And Remus. But it couldn't be either of them, though. Couldn't it?
"It was Sirius' brother Regulus,"said Lupin, erupting Harry from his thoughts. "Regulus Arion Black. R.A.B."
Harry sat back in his chair. So it was Regulus, the traitor brother of Sirius, who had relocated the horcrux. But did that mean that he was a bad guy after all? He did, after all, threaten to mispower Lord Voldemort's plans.
He had a thought."But what about the rest of the phrase. 'R.A.B. is S.O.B.s B.R.O.'"
Lupin frowned and twiddled his hands, looking at his lap. "I know that S.O.B. means Sirius Orion Black. That was an automatic. And the rest just came to me. In fact, S.O.B. was the first part I figured out." He nudged the teen. "You see Harry, if you take out the periods, what do you see?"
Harry thought and only one word came to mind. Bro. He quickly put it together. "So bro, means that it really was his brother."
Lupin nodded."As I said, that was the first part I figured out. The rest I put together." He stood up. "I do think that maybe your mother was warning you of something. I really do. Although I cannot see what." He pulled the teen up to his feet. "Come, Harry. Its time for bed."
And with that, both Lupin and Harry executed to their bed chambers, in which both fell into an almost instant slumber.
This pattern went on for the rest of June, which was only a couple of days. They would get up, eat, lounge about, eat more, think about the notes, eat dinner, and then off to bed. To be honest, Harry was a little tired of doing the same thing, day after day. He was relieved when July 1st came around and it was time to go to the Weasley wedding.
The three occupants had traveled via Floo Network, to the entrance of the The Burrow, where the outdoor wedding was taken place. Harry was dressed in his best, in a pair of black Wizarding robes. He found that he looked oddly out of place, for most had worn lighter colors, but he didn't care.
His thoughts were interrupted as he was wrapped in an immensely tight hug, from none other than Molly Weasley herself. She backed away from him, and gave him a good look.

"Always growing aren't you, Harry dear? I do believe that your school robes will once again need anew." If the school is opened again. thought Harry, ad she let go and started to drag him off to the rest of Harry's friends.
She had pulled him over to an outdoor tent, in which sat a group of students, most in their sixth or seventh year at Hogwarts. One of them with bushy brown hair, had snached him over to her. Harry recognized her as Hermione Granger. Now beside here was Ron Weasley, the groom's little brother.
"Hey Harry,"said Hermione, smiling. "Nice to see you again, eh?" Harry laughed at this. "Yeah, nice to see you."
The trio scampered over to a nearby table in which sat a small buffet of snacks. Ron and Harry both snatched up a couple appetizers, while Hermione looked at them. "Come on, you two. The wedding is about to start." And with that, she pulled them both out of the tent, and onto the decorated grounds of the Weasley home.
Dozens of chairs had been placed in rows, where the guests would sit. A large white alter was put up front, surrounded by white roses and balloons. Pacing by it, was none other than Bill Weasley. Harry smirked. He had heard about this. About groom's getting cold feet before their wedding. Harry wondered if his own father felt this way, with Sirius there to confort him.
He watched as dozens of guests piled into the seats in front of and behind him. Harry recognized the faint smell of alcohol, and spun around. There sat a very tired looking Fred and George Weasley. They both smiled at him, then leaned forward and whispered in his ear. Harry tried not to barf at the smell of heavy beer.
"Hey, mate."said Fred. "Bill had one hell of a stag party last night. You should'a been there."
"Yeah,"continued George. "Anything we wanted. The best part was, that Fleur paid for it."
Fred frowned."I do believe that we are still a bit tipsy though."
Harry smirked. In fact, both the twins were slightly swaying. He leaned into them.
"Nothing out of the ordinary, eh boys?"
Fred looked at George. (Or was it George looked at Fred?) "Harry, mate. Just wait until your wedding. We'll get you back for that."
Harry grinned and turned around. As he did, a slow wedding march began to chime. A very beautiful looking Fleur came walyzing down the aisle. He noticed that her part-veela charm was on full blast today. She had on a gorgeous white strapless dress, which was full-length, On the corset, was outlines of small flowers. (A/N-Fleur Delacour means Flower of the Court.) The skirt part was also lined in gold.
Her silvery blonde hair was piled up on top of her head, and there was also a very old and antique looking crown placed upon her head. Although it was ancient, it graciously added onto her beauty.
Harry took a glance at Ron, once Fleur had passed them. He was unsurprised that he was drooling. He whispered,"I'd keep my mouth shut if I were you."
At this, Ron went red. He whispered back,"I wasn't looking at Fleur, I was looking at...At..." He gave up. He put a hand on his eyes, and pointed."Over there."
Harry looked at the random direction in which Ron had pointed. He laughed when he saw Professor Sprout sitting there, wiping her eyes. He shook his head and looked back into the wedding.
The Minister of Magic had agreed to legalize this wedding. Therefore, he stood, upright and tall, at the front of the service. In his hands, he held the magical Bible. Apparently, this was a magical wedding.
He began the service.
"Magical creatures, young, old, creature, human. We have collected here this First of July to celebrate the joining of two people in Holy Matrimony. We shall start the service with a small exchange of Wizard Vows. Bill you may begin."
Bill looked anxiously at Fleur. "Fleur, you have been so nice to me. Even when I learned that I was half-werewolf. You stuck with me and cared for me. I will be honored to have you as my wife."
Fleur looked excited. "And I would love to be your vife. Ven you vere diagnosed, I didn't care. For I still loved you. I can only do 'ze best I can, but I vill try to help you in any way I can."
The minister smiled. "Now, if both of you would please cut a strand of your hair." He handed each of them a pair of scissors. Bill took his instantly but Fleur was a little hesitant. She didn't like the fact that she would have to cut her hair. But in the end, they each revealed a small amount of hair.
