Three former British soldiers are on the territory of the Azovstal plant in Mariupol. This is reported by the British newspaper Daily Express with reference to the ex-military kingdom.

Russian Forces Back On Zmeiny Island, Reinforce Their Positions​

After the failed attack of Ukrainian forces on Zmeiny Island (also known as Snake Island) in the Black Sea, the Russian military was reportedly forced to leave military positions on the island. Most recently, the satellite imagery revealed the presence of Russian forces on the island, which was confirmed by the Ukrainian and Russian military officials.

Having established control over the military positions, the Russian military shared the footage of the destroyed Ukrainian forces remained on the island. Detalji obračuna na Zmijskom ostrvu


Sedmog maja, tokom drugog pokušaja napada na Zmijsko ostrvo, ukrajinske Oružane snage su poslale tri transportno-desantna helikoptera Mi-8 sa pripadnicima specijalnih snaga, uz podršku Mi-24.


U jednom od Mi-8 nalazio se zamenik komandanta Ratne mornarice Oružanih snaga Ukrajine – načelnik uprave morske avijacije pukovnik Igor Bedzaj. U napadu ruskih lovaca pukovnik je poginuo.


-Čitavu grupu helikoptera dok se približavala ostrvu uništili su lovci ruskih Vazdušno-desantnih snaga. Piloti, jedinice desanta i načelnik uprave morske avijacije ukrajinske vojske Igor Bedzaj su poginuli, saopštili su u Ministarstvu odbrane Rusije.


Još šest helikoptera koji su se spremali da polete sa vojnog aerodroma kod Odese su bili uništeni.


Prema rečima zvaničnog predstavnika ruskog Ministarstva odbrane, general-majora Igora Konašenkova, ukrajinske trupe su izgubile 14 aviona i helikoptera, kao i 30 dronova i više od 50 pripadnika osoblja.
