Forrest Sawyer: Why do you feel hurt by life?

Madonna: Why am I so hurt? Losing my mother at a very young age was a devastating experience. I really did feel completely abandoned at that point in my life and I’m sure that has influenced every decision that I’ve made. Sort of left me with a feeling, a hunger, a longing, a feeling of emptiness. You sort of grow up being afraid to love things because they’re gonna leave you. And maybe that’s why I overreact to things, I’m over-sensitive to things. Are both of your parents still alive?

Forrest Sawyer: They are.

Madonna: Are you close to them?

Forrest Sawyer: I am.

Madonna: Isn’t it great to be able to call them up? I don’t know if you call your mother all the time but it’s so…

Forrest Sawyer: I call my mother all the time.

Madonna: I am constantly in these situations where I am completely frustrated and absolutely no one can come to my rescue and make me feel better. And I always say, “God I wish I had a mother, that I could call,” and … I don’t.

Real instruments is the main idea behind the new single. She won't play any instrument, just her voice. Everybody was amazed when she rehearsed it. I bet some people will not believe it's M singing when they'll hear it on the radio.

PSY on Madonna:

…when asked who the most memorable partner he’s worked with was thus far during his past few months of promotions, Psy responded the legendary Madonna remained the most memorable.

He explained, “Madonna was very fascinating. I went to the performance rehearsal and found Madonna laying on the stage floor. After seeing me, Madonna told me, ‘On stage you can touch me wherever you want.’”

He went on to the laughter of the set, “Since she’s a senior way above me, I did as she wanted!”
