2Ti 4:1 I give you orders, before God and Christ Jesus, who will be the judge of the living and the dead, and by his revelation and his kingdom;
2Ti 4:2 Be preaching the word at all times, in every place; make protests, say sharp words, give comfort, with long waiting and teaching;
2Ti 4:3 For the time will come when they will not take the true teaching; but, moved by their desires, they will get for themselves a great number of teachers for the pleasure of hearing them;
2Ti 4:4 And shutting their ears to what is true, will be turned away to belief in foolish stories.
2Ti 4:5 But be self-controlled in all things, do without comfort, go on preaching the good news, completing the work which has been given you to do.
2Ti 4:6 For I am even now being offered, and my end is near.
2Ti 4:7 I have made a good fight, I have come to the end of my journey, I have kept the faith:
2Ti 4:8 From now on, the crown of righteousness is made ready for me, which the Lord, the upright judge, Will give to me at that day: and not only to me, but to all those who have had love for his revelation.

2Ti 4:2 propovijedaj Riječ, uporan budi - bilo to zgodno ili nezgodno - uvjeravaj, prijeti, zapovijedaj sa svom strpljivošću i poukom.
2Ti 4:3 Jer doći će vrijeme kad ljudi neće podnositi zdrava nauka nego će sebi po vlastitim požudama nagomilavati učitelje kako im godi ušima;

2Ti 4:2 uporno propovijedaj Božju riječ bila za to prigoda ili ne. Upozoravaj ljude na grijeh, strogo ih kori, ali ih i hrabri strpljivo ih poučavajući.
2Ti 4:3 Jer doći će vrijeme kad ljudi više neće htjeti slušati zdravo učenje. Povodit će se za vlastitim željama te sebi naći mnoštvo učitelja koji će im govoriti ono što će goditi njihovim ušima.
2Ti 4:4 Odvraćat će uho od istine te ići za bajkama.
2Ti 4:5 Ali ti budi u svemu trijezan. Podnesi patnje, propovijedaj Radosnu vijest. Ispuni u potpunosti dužnost koju ti je Bog dao.
2Ti 4:6 A moja se krv već izlijeva Bogu na žrtvu. Približio se trenutak moje smrti.
2Ti 4:7 Dobro sam se borio za svojega Gospodina, istrčao sam trku i ostao mu vjeran.
2Ti 4:8 Pripravljen mi je vijenac pravednosti koji će mi Gospodin, pravedni sudac, dati na dan svojega dolaska. Dat će ga svima koji s ljubavlju iščekuju njegov slavni dolazak.

2Ti 4:1 Before God and Jesus Christ, I give you a command. Christ Jesus is the one who will judge all people--those who are living and those who have died. He is coming again to rule in his kingdom. So I give you this command:
2Ti 4:2 Tell everyone God's message. Be ready at all times to do whatever is needed.Tell people what they need to do, tell them when they are doing wrong, and encourage them. Do this with great patience and careful teaching.
2Ti 4:3 The time will come when people will not listen to the true teaching. But people will find more and more teachers who please them. They will find teachers who say what they want to hear.
2Ti 4:4 People will stop listening to the truth. They will begin to follow the teaching in false stories.
2Ti 4:5 But you should control yourself at all times. When troubles come, accept them. Do the work of telling the Good News. Do all the duties of a servant of God.
