Having recently completed a critically acclaimed world tour in London’s Wembley Arena earlier this month – which included 24 US dates and 52 European shows - Depeche Mode return on June 5th with the new double A-side single John The Revelator / Lilian - the fourth release from their critically acclaimed LP ‘Playing The Angel’.

Following the smash hits ‘Precious’, ‘A Pain That I’m Used To’ and ‘Suffer Well’, both tracks were written by Martin Gore and produced by Ben Hillier of Doves and Blur fame. Two of the many album highlights, ‘Lilian’ is sublime, superior electronica, while ‘John The Revelator’ has been the critic’s focus since the LP’s release last year. Word magazine described it as “pumping goth-gospel for which Anton Corbijn could surely make a terrifying video, should it be a single (it should).”

It will be available on 2-track CD, Maxi CD and DVD, featuring exclusive remixes by UNKLE and the stunning new video, which was filmed at their live show in Milan. The full tracklisting is:

Worldwide sales of the album have surpassed 2 million copies, seeing them reach Number 1 in sixteen countries, plus Top Ten in the UK, US and Canada. ‘Playing the Angel’ has also been certified Gold in seven countries and platinum in three.

Their recent world your included four UK shows and sold-out 69 arena dates throughout 30 countries, with 800,000 tickets sold in Europe alone.

They will headline London’s Wireless Festival on Sunday, June 25th.
 
Three of Depeche Mode's best-known albums will be reissued May 16 via Rhino in expanded form. The band's 1981 debut "Speak & Spell," 1987's "Music for the Masses" and 1990's "Violator" will be bolstered with a bonus DVD disc featuring a 5.1 audio mix, B-sides and remixes and new interviews with band members about the projects.

"Speak & Spell," which launched the band thanks to hits like "Just Can't Get Enough" and "Dreaming of Me," is rounded out by the B-sides "Ice Machine," "Shout" and "Any Second Now," plus the Schizo Mix of "Just Can't Get Enough."

"Music for the Masses" sports nine bonus tracks, such as the B-sides "Route 66," "Agent Orange" and "Pleasure, Little Treasure" and the Aggro Mix of "Never Let Me Down Again."

The worldwide smash "Violator," which features classics like "Policy of Truth," "Enjoy the Silence" and "Personal Jesus," is rounded out in this new edition by B-sides like "Mephisto," "Happiest Girl" and "Sea of Sin."

Uh... mislim da cu se povrediti, tupim predmetom, da me vise... "zaboli".
U lazi su kratke noge (stara dobra), secas se da si na pocetku pisala kako zivis u inostranstvu i imas ne znam koliko dece... pa tako redom... imas ti neki problem, laz je krupan problem, verovatno socijalne prirode. Kao i zelja da budes primecena, navalenta, upadljiva... bezi u cosak.
 
Depeche Mode live on MTV...

For the first time ever a Depeche concert will be shown live on television. Their performance at the forthcoming Rock Am Ring appearance will be sent live on German MTV.

Inacce je Dave, ljubim ga u grlo, oboleo od laringitisa, te su bili primorani da 11.maja zaobidju Chicago i skrate koncert u Kansas City-u. Gadna je to boljka, joss u pogressnom momentu ...
 
Bilo bi divno kada bi se laringitis tako leccio. Nazzalost, tu ne pomazze ni sserbet od piva(inacce je to jedna izuzetno efikasna, ali bljak stvar za samo grlo). Kada je u pitanju upala glasnih zzica ... treba preduzeti radikalnije mere u zavisnosti kog porekla je upala.

Malo sam zateccena ovim brojem, samo 7 chart-topper-a na "Hot Dance Club Play" listi iako je skoro navrsseno 25 godina od njihovog proboja (4.april 1981.g. singlom "Dreaming Of Me") na liste!!! I to koji su!!?
