In regards to this new album, I have been told the following information which I have posted throughout these past 300+ pages:
-New album due out in November 2010, slight chance of a late October release should things move ahead of schedule. But right now look for the weekend before the US thanksgiving holiday.
-Album will have between 10 and 12 tracks
-Marketing will be geared as a “new” MJ album opposed to a “unreleased songs” album.
-It will contain material from Rodney Jerkins, stuff MJ wrote himself, material from the Cascio recordings, Another Day *beep* and possibly Hold My Hand (Akon). I DO NOT have an exact tracklist, and the final tracklist has yet to be completed. My source has not seen the final song list which he believes is not finished in stone. These recordings I am telling you about are simply ideas tossed around between the estate and then transfered back to Sony.
-The Will.i.am material is still in debate and as of late June has not been okayed by Wil which leads many involved in the project to believe it won’t be included (They have until August to approve any last minute changes).
-There is a song MJ recorded in 2006 for Hurricane Katrina which the estate has control of. This has been cited as a possible option for the album. He recorded this in Bahrain and had a master copy on his personal hard drive.
-There IS completed material from RedONE and T-Pain but no word from my source on whether these will make the cut. I do have confirmation that songs do exist from both and were completed in 2008 in Vegas.
-First single is aimed to be released in late August (around MJ’s bday) with the latest possible release date in early September depending on when they plan to release the album. Right now, I’m told that single is Another Day. (That’s what my source was told directly from the estate approximately 1 month ago). I have not asked if anything has changed on that front.
-A video campaign will be used for the singles. Possible ideas for this include montage from TII, new cartoon MJ videos, recording studio archive footage for when Mj actually recorded the single, etc.
-A huge marketing campaign will begin with the first single. Expect in store promotions, artists who were involved to make public appearances, television ads, billboards, magazine ads, and internet ads.
� Look, I am not perfect here. I am simply letting you guys know of conversations between Sony and the estate. My source is at Sony USA. I figured you’d all want to know what was being discussed for the future.

-As of right now, Sony is saying November for a release date to capitalize on huge Christmas sales. The estate wants something for MJ’s birthday. So the actual release date has not been announced yet. If Sony gets it way with a November release date then the first single will be out end of August instead of late June. That single is Another Day with Lenny Kravitz as of right now.
-The album will contain 10 songs minimum, maximum is now 12. The reason for the low amount of songs is because there is about 30-35 songs in the vault that are “album material”. The other 30-40 are demos with weaker sounds, or just B side songs that many fans would be disappointed with to have on an official MJ album. Sony and the estate want to release a minimum of 2 but most likely 3 CD’s over the next 7 years of unreleased MJ songs.
-Although MJ isn’t alive to promote the singles, Sony is still banking on a #1 album and a #1 single in the US. They plan to hype up the release and want fans to download the first single like crazy to get it to #1 on the Billboard 200 (giving MJ his 14th #1 on the chart).
-I can confirm that We’ve Had Enough will not make the album cut, the only song fans have heard before in full is Hold My Hand, although the album version is slightly different then the one we have. There will be mostly Invincible cuts, 03 recordings, 2006-2009 songs, and then a few from the 80′s and 90′s as of right now. Sony changed their mind last minute to include a few older songs simply due to the incredible sound and modern feel to them.
-The BAD tour WILL be released sometime over the next 7 years in high quality DVD. A Blu-Ray release is unknown at this time simply because the cameras it was filmed on are not high enough quality for a Blu-Ray DVD. They will however remaster the sound and enhance the video quality in the release.
-A new MJ video game is in the works. I am told this is an enhanced version of Moonwalker with new levels, new songs, and will be sold as early as fall 2010! No date has been set in stone yet as Sony video game technicians are still creating levels, and putting the game together. Regardless, expect the new Moonwalker to be on PS3 soon, and a possible X Box 360 version is also in the works.
-The estate asked Sony to include a live album as a part of their 10 album release and Sony plans on doing just that. There are over 30 songs in the vault of MJ singing live, and I’m told it’s incredible. I myself have heard a few of these tracks and they are mindblowing.
-Also, expect a 25th anniversary edition of BAD in 2012. The new disc will have a DVD to go with it, along with a poster, and 2 new songs from that time period that have never been heard before, along with two potential demos of songs that eventually morphed into other songs later on.
-And finally, I am told the Cirque Du Soleil is practically a go, and will be announced within the next couple months. A CD to go with the show will also be sold along with tons of memorabilia. This will be in Vegas, and should start as early as late fall, but most likely in 2011

1) I have not heard whether there will be a video for Another Day. I do know that MJ never recorded any videos for Invincible other than YRMW and Cry. So if there is a video, it will be made by Sony and will simply be a bunch of MJ images or clips from previous performances, etc. One thing that is interesting, I am told much of the Invincible sessions were recorded, including the Another Day session. So that’s something I am told could be made public.
2) The Bad tour will be released on DVD in 2012 (this will be the year of Bad). Two of the Wembley shows were recorded in HQ which is perfect for a DVD release. There were also two other shows that were recorded in HQ. All other shows were either not taped at all, or shot in lower quality sound. MJ was only satisfied with the HQ tapings, specifically the Wembley shows. Sony and the estate are in the process of acquiring the master copies right now, they are very confident they will have them soon.
3) Yes there will be new documentaries around the October/November time frame to promote the new album. Remember, Sony has invested big numbers into these songs. My source tells me there will be huge amounts of promotion for the November album ranging from tv documentaries, public appearances by people close to MJ or people who worked with MJ (including Lenny), and other surprises.
