Cryptocurrencies are a nascent asset class and could fall violently at any time, the founder of blockchain network Ethereum warned on Saturday.

"Reminder: cryptocurrencies are still a new and hyper-volatile asset class, and could drop to near-zero at any time," Vitalik Buterin said on Twitter. "Don't put in more money than you can afford to lose."

Buterin added: "If you're trying to figure out where to store your life savings, traditional assets are still your safest bet."

Osnivac Etheriuma Vitalik Buterin kaze da je kretanje cena crypto nepredviljivo i lako moze da padne blizu nule. Savetuje ljude da ne ulazu novac koji nisu spremni da izgube i ako zele da stede, uobicajana sredstva su sigurnija.

Barem ima savest, mozda ipak treba uloziti u njegovu valutu. :mrgreen:

Osnivac Etheriuma Vitalik Buterin kaze da je kretanje cena crypto nepredviljivo i lako moze da padne blizu nule. Savetuje ljude da ne ulazu novac koji nisu spremni da izgube i ako zele da stede, uobicajana sredstva su sigurnija.

Barem ima savest, mozda ipak treba uloziti u njegovu valutu. :mrgreen:

Pa dobro, to je prva stvar koju ti svako napomene, nista novo. Ipak, ako postoji sigurica u kripto svetu to je ethereum.

Bitkoin zadnjih par dana stabilan na $11700 dolara

Kazu da je cenu digao jedan kupac koji je razmenio 340 miliona dolara za bitkoine.

To mora da je neka budala uradila jer tako kazu pustos, Saliva i bajker da ce uskoro bitkoin da vredi nula.



Oni sa dvesta dinara u dzepu svakako znaju mnogo bolje u sta vredi investirati - od ovog lika koji ima milione i koji je 340 milki ulozio u bitkoin z:D

NOVI POTRES NA BERZI: Indeksi u padu, investitori u panici cekaju kraj dana!

Indeksi na svetskim berzama danas su vecinom u crvenom, dok investitori ocekuju izveštaj s poslednjeg sastanka americkih Federalnih rezervi.

Nemacki DAX je u padu od 0,2 odsto, francuski CAC 40 manje od 0,1 odsto, a britanski FTSE 100 od 0,3 odsto.



Na istoku je japanski Nikei 225 pao jedan odsto, južnokorejski Kospi 1,1 odsto, a hongkongški Hang Seng 0,8 odsto. Australijski S&P/ASX 200 je bez promena, dok su berze u kontinentalnoj Kini zatvorene zbog lunarne Nove godine.

Na Volstritu, posle pauze zbog praznika u SAD, fjucrsi ukazuju na gubitke na pocetku trgovanja.



Danas se ocekuju beleške s poslednjeg sastanka Federalnih rezervi.



Vrednost referentne americke nafte, prema podacima Blumberga, porasla je za 0,24 odsto, na 61,92 dolara po barelu, dok je cena nafte Brent pala za 0,61 odsto, na 65,06 dolara po barelu.
 
Ne maši on ništa, predviđanje je da će BTC da dostigne 12.000$ na Bitstampu, trenutno je na 11.550$. Naravno, predviđanje je staro dva meseca pa ne treba gledati u cent.

Ja i dalje ostajem pri stavu koji sam imao krajem novembra, očekujem BTC na ispod 5000$ pre leta.
Ono što imam čuvam jer sam i dalje u lepom plusu, ali imam dolare na stampu spremne za kupovinu po bezobrazno niskim cenama.
 
za sad mu bikovi ne daju da padne dosta se kupuje.

Bitcoin Price Ticks Higher Amid Strong Korean Demand

Bitcoin's recovery continues apace, with prices passing $11,600 in the morning's trading.

According to CoinDesk's Bitcoin Price Index, at around 07:00 UTC today, the cryptocurrency reached $11,645.12, before dropping slightly again. At time of writing, the bitcoin global average was at $11,462.

Notably, valuations are higher over on data provider CoinMarketCap, where high prices in South Korea seem to be inflating the figures. At press time, bitcoin was quoted at $11,591 - up 5.5 percent over 24 hours, and 35 percent for the week.

The site's market data reveals that, on South Korean exchanges Bithumb and Upbit, bitcoin is changing hands via the BTC/KRW pair at over $12,300.

The highest roller in Las Vegas has nothing on Bitcoin’s latest investor.

An anonymous trader has sunk $400 million—enough to buy New York State’s most expensive home twice with change left over—into the cryptocurrency, raising his or her stake from 55,000 coins to more than 96,000 between Feb. 9 and Feb. 12. And that buy-in is already paying substantial returns.

The bulk of the purchases took place on Feb. 9, with another 9,000 or so on Feb 12. And even if the buyer bought at the day’s peak, he, she, or it is looking at total gains so far of roughly $83 million.

The current value of the buyer’s portfolio currently stands at nearly $1.1 billion.

Whoever the investor was, it wasn’t his or her first time plunking down a lot of cash on Bitcoin. Their account was largely dormant before Dec. 12, when it went from holdings of 0.246 coins to 48,627 by the morning of Dec. 13. (Bitcoin, at the time, was going for about $17,000—meaning a rough investment of $827 million.)

Bitgrail, an exchange whose primary purpose was to facilitate the trading of nano, has folded after ‘losing’ 17 million XRB, valued at around $170 million. The Italian exchange had been offline for weeks, and its customers feared the worst. Today, its operator “Francesco The Bomber” confirmed the bad news, which gained short shrift from the Nano community. Many believe Bitgrail’s owner to have exit scammed, taking with him almost 13% of the total circulating supply.

In fact, Tom Lee of Fundstrat Global Advisors predicts that by July 2018, Bitcoin will be back up to $20,000 and reach $25,000 by the end of the year. He finds that judging by historical performance, it takes Bitcoin about 85 days “to recover prior highs” after a period of bottoming out.

Venezuela cryptocurrency to draw investment from Turkey, Qatar-official

CARACAS (Reuters) - Venezuela’s new “petro” cryptocurrency will attract investments from Turkey, Qatar, the United States and Europe, the country’s cryptocurrency regulator said on Friday.

The government of President Nicolas Maduro, which says the petro will help skirt financial sanctions by Washington, has scheduled the first petros sale for Tuesday.

Skeptics say that concerns about Venezuela’s financial solvency will likely limit investor interest, while the U.S. Treasury Department has warned the petro may violate sanctions against the OPEC nation.


“On Tuesday, there will be quite a few announcements about the start of the process,” Venezuelan Cryptocurrency Superintendent Carlos Vargas said on the sidelines of a political meeting in Caracas.

“And there will surely be a lot of investors from Qatar, Turkey, and other parts of the Middle East, though Europeans and Americans will also participate.”

He did not elaborate.

The Venezuelan government has not provided full details about the petro. But advisers working for the government recommended that 38.4 percent of the petros should be sold in a private auction at a discount of 60 percent.

Venezuela is suffering quadruple-digit inflation and chronic shortages of food and medicine, which have spurred increased incidents of malnutrition and preventable diseases.

Maduro says his government is the victim of an “economic war” led by opposition politicians with the help of the government of U.S. President Donald Trump.

Sanctions levied last year by Washington block U.S. banks and investors from acquiring newly issued Venezuelan debt, effectively preventing the struggling nation from borrowing abroad to bring in new hard currency or refinance existing debt.

Zaif, a government-registered exchange run by Osaka-based Tech Bureau Corp, said on Tuesday that a system glitch had let seven customers buy bitcoin with no yen value during a 20-minute window last week.

The exchange voided the trades after discovering the error, which happened on Feb. 16 - though it was still trying to resolve the issue with one customer who tried to transfer the knock-down bitcoins from the exchange, a spokesman told Reuters.

Na registrovanoj berzi u Osaki, 16. februara doslo je do greske i u roku od 20 minuta, 7 musterija je moglo da kupi bitcoin za 0 dolara. :mrgreen:
Ponistili su kupovine, ali se jos uvek raspravljaju sa jednim koji zeli da premesti novac.

Considering the fact that Bitcoin has a market cap of just over $183 billion, that sell order really must have confused some traders for a bit.
