Kako da podesim GRUB2 da boot-uje windows po defaultu?

Ne postoji fajl .../menu.lst

Koristim Ubuntu 10.10, ako to pomaze.

Najbolje je pročitati komentar koji stoji na početku tog fajla:

Grub2 se razlikuje od prethodne verzije između ostalog i u tome što se podešavanja ne vrše u grub.cfg fajlu, već u /etc/default/grub i to na sledeći način:

Otvori konfiguracioni fajl geditom sa root permisijama:

Kod:

gksu gedit /etc/default/grub

Tu ćeš vrlo lako uočiti liniju

Kod:

GRUB_DEFAULT=0

Nulu zameni brojem željenog operativnog sistema u Grub meniju (verovatno 5, ali nije teško izbrojati).

Sačuvaj izmene, zatvori gedit i u terminalu pokreni ovu komandu da bi se grub2 osvežio sa novim podešavanjima:

Nema uopšte potrebe za sudo update-grub!!! Dovoljno je da uradi onako kako sam mu rekao i to je to!

Pa sudo update-grub nije destruktivna komanda, zašto bi je izbegavao? Ta se komanda automatski izvršava pri svakom apdejtu kernela ili samog gruba.
A drugo, zašto bi radio nešto za šta su ljudi koji su napravili grub2 (velikim slovima) rekli da se ne radi?

pa znaš li ti druže koliko ima .conf fajlova koji počinju sa: # DO NOT EDIT THIS FILE, pa opet je potrebno editovati ih!!!
