1-Moja omiljena -Phoebe Halliwell
Phoebe, always used to the freedom and spirit of being the youngest, is now put in the middle sister position. Having graduated college, she is working on gaining maturity as well as honing her martial arts skills and her ability to levitate. Recently, however, her growing popularity as an advice column writer for the Bay Mirror has begun to takeover her life. With her marriage with half-human/half-demon Cole Turner finally over, Phoebe is trying to move with her life.
Powers: Premonition, Levitation, Empathy
Sign: Scorpio
Jobs: Lounge Psychic at the Hotel Neptune, Assistant at Buckland's Auction House (for less than a week), Assistant at SWA Properties (for less than a day), Advice Columnist for The Bay Mirror
Relationships: Clay (dating), Cole (marriage), Jason (dating)
The most serious relationship that Phoebe has had since she has moved back to San Francisco has been with Cole Turner. Cole first appeared as the Assistant District Attorney, only as a disguise. Cole is half-human, half-demon and his demon half was hired by the Triad to destroy the Charmed Ones. But while he was trying to get close to Phoebe in order to kill the three sisters, he fell in love with her and ended up killing Triad. He has been on the run from demonic bounty hunters ever since. Their relationship has encountered many obstacles. When Phoebe initally found out he was a demon, she refused to vanquish him and allowed him to escape. When he returned, she was bent upon staying away from him, but she realized how much she loved him and needed him. Cole then volunteered to go undercover in a demonic Brotherhood in order to stop their evil plans. While undercover, his old mentor lured him back to the dark side by destroying Phoebe's love for him. Phoebe managed to reverse the spell his mentor had used to turn him evil and he began helping the sisters fend off demons. By accident, Cole's demonic powers were stripped from him and now he is just human. He proposed to Phoebe, but she told him that she wasn't ready to get married yet. She finally accepted his marriage proposal, and they recently married.
Without Phoebe's knowledge, Cole had been possessed by the magic of the Source when the Charmed Ones vanquished him. With the Seer's help, Cole tricked Phoebe into marrying him in a dark way. Because of this dark ceremony the son that Phoebe concieved was evil rather than good. When Phoebe discovered that Cole had turned, she initially supported him as his Queen of the Underworld, but quickly she realized that as much as she loved him she could not give into evil. With the help of her sisters she vanquished Cole. The Seer then tried to steal Phoebe's baby in efforts to claim the throne of the Underworld. When she succeeded in transferring the baby from Phoebe's body to her own, she revealed that the baby had never been Phoebe's or Cole's but her own. (She had manipulated them both into creating her child with the investments of the Source's magic.)
After the baby caused the Seer to self-destruct, killing many high-level demons as well as herself and finally vanquishing the Source, Phoebe began receiving psychic messages from Cole. Phoebe discovered that Cole was caught in the wasteland where demons go when they are vanquished. While the Source's power had been devoured by the beast that guards the wasteland, Cole managed to hang on because of his soul. He accidentally stumbled upon the discovery that if he absorbed the powers of vanquished demons before the beast could devour them, Cole could receive the powers. Through this method Cole managed to pull himself out of the wasteland. He continued to pursue his relationship with Phoebe, even though she did not see much hope for their marriage and divorced him.
More recently Phoebe has been pursuing a relationship with Jason Dean, the businessman who purchased The Bay Mirror. While Phoebe felt attracted to Jason she was hesitant to date him at first because of their clashing personalities and their work relationship. But eventually, Phoebe found Jason's softer side and decided to take the risk of dating her boss. Soon their relationship hit another obstacle when Jason's work took him overseas, and they have been striving to keep their long-distance relationship thriving. Recently she moved to Hong Kong to live with Jason. After Jason finally found out that Phoebe is a witch, very unexpectedly, he was angry with Phoebe for having lied to him for so long. His temper eventually subsided but his decision to end their relationship remained firm. Both Phoebe and Jason recognized their shortcomings in the relationship and they parted amiably, so perhaps their relationship is not completely finished.
Sada Piper Halliwell
Former middle child and usually peacekeeper Piper is catapulted into the role of oldest sibling. Still juggling running their successful P3 nightclub with her new role as a single mom, Piper seeks to find an inner strength she didn't know existed, which drives her to capably take on the role of the oldest, constantly looking out for Phoebe and Paige. Now that she is also a mother, she must worry about the safety of her son as well.
Powers: Molecule manipulation (freeze and explode)
Quotation: "I'm being stalked by psycho killers and I hide in the shower?!?" (from "Chick Flick")
Favorite Phrase: "How can I have a normal life with this going on?"
Jobs: Manager of Quake, Owner of P3
Relationships: Jeremy (dating), Josh (dating), Dan (dating), Leo (marriage)
Piper's most serious relationship has been with Leo Wyatt, whom she recently married. When she and Leo first started dating, Piper thought that he was just their handyman and did not know that he was their whitelighter. After he had to leave unexpectedly, she was saddened, but she tried to move on with her life. Leo came back once and Phoebe discovered his secret. When he tried to tell Piper that he could never see her again without telling her that he was a whitelighter, Piper seemed to take it very well. However, when Leo was shot by a darklighter's poisonous arrow, Piper traded powers with him to heal him and save his life, which she could only do after she admitted that she loved him. They had an on again, off again relationship for a while, but they broke it off when Piper grew interested in Dan, the next door neighbor. When Piper almost died from a deadly disease, Leo brought her back to life and as punishment for breaking the rules in this manner, his wings were clipped and Leo became mortal for a while. Piper finally chose Leo over Dan. When they learned that the Elders were unwilling to allow them to have a relationship, Leo proposed marriage so that they could be together. At their wedding, however, the Elders took Leo away. After Piper was able to continue saving innocents in his absence, the Elders sent Leo back and finally granted them permission to get married. A recent suggestion of having children was put on hold for fear that they would not be able to properly protect a baby. After the sisters vanquished the Source (for the first time), Leo and Piper began trying to have a child but found difficulties. When she discovered that it would be difficult if not impossible for her to concieve, Piper tried to remain positive for Leo's sake but she seemed to give up hope. However, a surprise visit from an Angel of Destiny revealed that destiny had a child in store for Piper and Leo after all. When many of the Elders were killed in an attack, Leo found himself forced to take the lead and act on the Elders' behalf. He was surprised to discover that his ability to lead in the time of crisis had elevated him to become an Elder. Piper was consumed with anger when she learned that Leo might have to leave her and Wyatt to assume his new position, but eventually Leo managed to convince her that he needed to act for the sake of the greater good, even if it meant giving up his family. Now Piper faces the possibility of having to raise her son as a single mother.
Since Piper and Leo's parting, Piper had become increasingly happy. Alarmed by her change in attitude Paige and Phoebe told Chris to ask Leo about Piper, bu Chris admited that Leo had been kidnapped. When Paige and Phoebe told Piper that Leo was missing, she was oddly unaffected by the news, not really remembering their parting. But when the sisters finally found Leo, Piper's memories came flooding back. She demanded to know why she did not remember Leo leaving her, and Leo told her that he used his powers to make her forget and not feel as much pain. Not wanting to face the pain and anger she feels toward Leo, Piper became a Valkyrie. Phoebe and Paige confronted Piper, using a spell to make Piper feel her suppressed emotions. Once confronted with her pain, Piper realized that she did not belong with the Valkyries and returned home. Leo apologized to Piper for taking away her feelings. Piper said that she understood that he was only trying to help, but she told him that since he was still an Elder she would appreciate his keeping his distance so that she might move on with her life. Even though she wanted space from Leo, after she saw how much Leo missed Wyatt and much Wyatt missed his daddy, she told Leo that he could visit Wyatt as much as he wanted when she was not around.
When Piper and Leo became stranded in the ghostly plane with Leo shot by a darklighter's arrow and no one around to heal him, their defenses finally came down. When Leo told Piper that he still loved her, they ended up spending the night together. Because his presence at the manor had put his son at risk to the darklighter, Leo finally realized that he needed to take his place as an Elder. So when Paige and Phoebe told Piper that because she and Leo had slept together that Piper was pregnant with Chris, Piper felt that she could not tell Leo about their new son because he had finally been able to accept his new destiny.
For a time, Piper couldn't choose between Dan and Leo. Dan Gordon moved into the house next door and Piper felt attracted to him. They dated for a while, but Piper could never tell him that she was a witch because she was afraid he would not understand or could not understand. Dan couldn't stand the fact that Piper kept secrets from him and would never explain why she disappeared so suddenly. Piper also felt as though Dan wanted their relationship to move too fast, asking her to move in with him and making comments about their having children together. She also felt a little uncomfortable around him because he seemed so "perfect" - he was great looking, great with babies, fun to be with - and she felt rather imperfect in comparison. Supernatural occurrences also added to Piper's conflict. When Phoebe journeyed to her past life and discovered that Dan and Piper had been married and had a child together, Piper's grandmother no less, while she and Leo had been lovers, she felt uncertain about what these previous events indicated about her present life situation. Piper ended the relationship when she realized that she still wanted to be with Leo.
Josh was a graduate student that Piper dated for a while. She was hesitant to become involved with him because of her bad luck with men. Their relationship did not last very long, and ended when Josh was offered a job in Los Angeles.
Prue Halliwell
Prue, the driven oldest sister, has the power to move objects. Prue worked at Buckland's, an auction house, but now she works for 415 magazine as a photographer. She seemed annoyed when her youngest sister Phoebe returned home to live in the family house, and she was very skeptical when Phoebe told her that she believed the sisters are witches. She had the most problems dealing with becoming a witch because she still wanted to have a normal life. After three years of battling demons, Prue died while fighting the Source's personal assassin Shax.
Powers: Telekinesis, Astral projection
Quotation: "Well, the house is a mess again. I mean, how come we can't fight the demon of cleanliness, or the demon of housekeeping, or even that bald Mr. Clean guy. I would so totally take him on." (from "Chick Flick")
Favorite Phrase: "Andy, hi."
Sign: Scorpio
Jobs: Specialist at Buckland's Auction House, Photographer for 415 Magazine
Relationships: Andy (dating), Jack Sheridan (dating)
Prue's most serious relationship has been with Andy Trudeau, an inspector for the San Francisco Police Department. Their relationship began when they were teenagers but ended when they went off to college. They ran into each other again right after Prue had received her powers. They tried having a normal relationship for a while, but Prue could not explain her sudden disappearances due to demon hunting and Andy became annoyed with her keeping secrets from him. Prue cast a truth spell in order to discover if Andy could accept the fact that she was a witch and still want to have a relationship. While Andy could accept that Prue was witch, he told her that he could envision their having a lasting relationship. Prue was disappointed with his answer and decided to break up with him. Since a condition of the spell caused Andy to forget what Prue had told him, her sudden dismissal of him made him even more suspicious. Once Andy finally discovered the sisters' secret, but this did not renew their relationship. Andy was killed by Rodriguez, a demon sent to destroy the Charmed Ones.
For a while, Prue dated Jack Sheridan, a coworker at Buckland's. Even though Jack only annoyed Prue at first, eventually Jack and Prue came to really like each other. They had a brief relationship, but Prue ended it when she knew that she wasn't interested in a long-term relationship with him.
Paige Matthews-Halliwell
Newest sister in the fold, Paige was raised by adoptive parents and always felt that there was something different and special about her (little did she know that she could help revive the power of "The Charmed Ones," the three most powerful good witches to ever exist). Even though she loved her adoptive parents, Paige has searched for her true birth right, with only a small lead that she was abandoned at birth at a local church. Phoebe and Piper were unaware of having a fourth sister because she was concieved in a forbidden union between Patty, the girls' mother, and her whitelighter Sam. They gave Paige up for adoption so that Phoebe, Piper and Prue would not be denied their powers. Although she has inherited the power to move things with her mind like Prue had, because she's part whitelighter, the power is altered slightly. Paige and Piper conflict the most, but they slowly are learning how to get along with Phoebe as a buffer. She worked in a social services office as a secretary, and was finally promoted to social worker. However, as soon as she was promoted, Paige quit her job in order to pursue witchcraft full time.
Powers: Telekinetic Orbing, Teletransportation (Orbing), Glamouring
Quotation: "You were a demon and a lawyer? Insert joke here." (from "Black As Cole")
Jobs: Assistant at South Bay Social Services, Dog Walker, Fruit Packer, Secretary/Assistant, Home Help Aid
Relationships: Shane (dating), Glen (dating), Nate (dating), Richard (dating)
Paige's most recent relationship has been with a witch named Richard Montana. She met Richard and his family through her supernaturally determined temp jobs and she helped stop the feud between his family and another family of witches. They ran into each other a few weeks later and Paige was glad to find a person with whom she could discuss magical things besides her sisters. This comfortableness and their mutual attraction soon led to a romantic relationship and recently Paige moved in with Richard.
While Paige has had a string of boyfriends since meeting her sisters, she has shown a particular interest in a man named Glen Belland. Paige and Glen have known each other since high school and have dated off and on since then, but have remained good friends. Their relationship never was too serious because Glen oftens travels and refuses to stay tied down, and Paige feels more bound to stay in San Francisco because of her new responsibilties with her sisters. Paige considered becoming more serious with Glen recently, because not only has she known him forever, but by accident he discovered her secret that she's a witch and has accepted it. When Paige went to talk to him about beginning to date again, she was surprised to discover that he was planning on marrying a girl named Jessica he met while climbing the Matterhorn. After a series of magical mishaps, Glen and Jessica's relationship seemed on shaky ground, so perhaps a more relationship between Glen and Paige still may come.
She also had a relationship with a man named Nate Parks. She considered becoming serious with him so she cast a truth spell on him to find out if he could accept her being a witch. While Nate was accepting of Paige's secret, he also revealed a secret of his own—he was married.
Leo Wyaat
Leo has always been the sisters' whitelighter, guardian angels for good witches, but they were unaware of Leo's watchful gaze until they received their powers a few years ago. Before he became a whitelighter, Leo lived in San Francisco and was studying to become a doctor. When he enlisted in the army during World War II, he became a medic. He died in the battle of Guadalcanal while he was bandaging a soldier's head wound. Since meeting the sisters, Leo increasingly became more a part of their lives: first as a guide and guardian, then as a friend, and then as a husband and brother-in-law. Now that he and Piper are no longer together, he is having difficulty leaving his family behind.
Powers: Orbing, Healing, Hovering, Glamouring
Quotation: "Being with her broke the rules, but not being with her breaks my heart." (from "Love Hurts")
Favorite Phrase: "It's against the rules."
Relationships: Lillian (marriage), Piper (marriage)
Leo first met the sisters he was posing as a handyman fixing the manor. Piper did not know that Leo was their whitelighter, or even what a whitelighter was, when they first started dating. Even though he knew that it was against the rules for witches and whitelighters to fall in love, Leo fell in love with Piper. Leo left soon after they started dating because of his other whitelighter assignments and he realized that not being involved with Piper was probably for the best. He came back to try and tell Piper that they could not be together, and he was surprised how well she accepted it, telling him that he was geographically undesirable.
When Leo was shot by a darklighter's poisonous arrow, Piper traded powers with him to heal him and save his life, which she could only do after she admitted that she loved him. They had an on again, off again relationship for a while, but they broke it off when Piper grew interested in Dan. When Piper almost died from a deadly disease, Leo brought her back to life, which was against the rules, and as punishment for breaking the rules, Leo became mortal for a while. Leo could not stand to just sit by and not help the sisters protect people so he asked the Elders for his powers back.
Piper finally chose Leo over Dan and they started dating again. When they learned that the Elders were unwilling to allow them to have a relationship, Leo proposed marriage so that they could be together. At their wedding, however, the Elders took Leo away after being made aware of Piper and Leo's plans by Cole. After Piper admitted that she was willing to give up Leo in order to continue saving innocents, the Elders sent Leo back on probation in order for Piper and Leo to prove that their relationship would not interfere in their supernatural duties. Eventually after months of probation, the Elders granted them permission to get married.
Recently Leo and Piper began trying to have a child but found difficulties - because of all of the demonhunting Piper's doctor said that it would difficult if not impossible for Piper to have children.
Leo was sent by Chris to Valhalla, an island inhabited by Valkyries, beings that scour battlefiends for the souls of dying warriors, and the warriors they were training to fight in the final world battle. As an Elder, the Valkyries used Leo to train their warriors and fighting for his life caused Leo to change. When the sisters rescued him, Piper confronted him about why she could not remember Leo leaving her and he admitted that he used his powers to take away her pain and help her forget him so that she could move on. He apologized for taking away her feelings and though she eventually admitted that she knows he only did so to help her, she told him that since he was still an Elder she needed time away from him if she was to move on with her life. Leo had trouble staying away from Piper for missing his son, so Piper told him that he could visit Wyatt as much as he wanted when she was not around.
Cole Turner
Once a trusted confidant and Phoebe's husband, Cole Turner became the Charmed Ones' biggest problem. After they vanquished him when he became the Source of All Evil, Cole found a way back from the dead, determined to win Phoebe's love, and bringing with him the powers of coutless vanquished demons. Slowly, those powers corrupted him, turning him mad and eager to end his own life, but also rendering him unvanquishable.
Powers: as Belthazor: Energy Balls, Shimmering, Pyrokinesis; as The Source: Unknown, but seemingly limitless; after returning from the Wasteland: Unknown, but seemingly limitless
Quotation: "I'm sorry, but we have to stop seeing each other. Why? Because I gotta kill you, that's why. Smooth." (from "Power Outage")
Favorite Phrase: "I'm not giving up on us, Phoebe."
Relationships: Phoebe (marriage)
Cole first approached the Charmed Ones disguised as an Assistant District Attorney. Cole is half-human, half-demon and his demon half was hired by the Triad to destroy the Charmed Ones. But while he was trying to get close to Phoebe in order to kill the three sisters, he fell in love with her and ended up killing the Triad. He has been on the run from demonic bounty hunters ever since.
Understandably their relationship has encountered many obstacles. When Phoebe initally discovered that Cole was a demon, she faked his death and allowed him to escape. After he returned, she was bent upon staying away from him, but she realized how much she loved him and needed him. Cole then volunteered to go undercover in a demonic Brotherhood in order to stop their evil plans. While undercover, his old mentor lured him back to the dark side by destroying Phoebe's love for him. After Cole revealed to Phoebe that his mentor has used a spell to turn him evil, Phoebe's faith in Cole's good side was restored and she managed to reverse the spell. He then began helping the sisters in their mission to protect innocents and vanquish demons.
By accident, Cole's demonic powers were stripped from him and he became human. Before becoming human he had proposed to Phoebe, but she told him that she wasn't ready to get married yet. While he was human he felt very unsure about himself and his place in the world. He had been a demon for over one hundred years and he was not sure how to be a human. Cole also felt insecure about his relationship with Phoebe because of her wish to postpone their engagement. Phoebe finally accepted his marriage proposal, and after the sisters vanquished the Source (for the first time) they married. However, without Phoebe's knowledge Cole had been possessed by the magic of the Source when the Charmed Ones vanquished him. Cole tried to fight the Source and retain control of his actions, but the Source proved to be too strong for him and Cole succumbed. With the Seer's help, Cole tricked Phoebe into marrying him in a dark way. Because of this dark ceremony the son that Phoebe concieved was evil rather than good. While the Source managed to suppress Cole when he first took over Cole's body, after he learned that he was to become a father Cole's influence grew stronger and stronger and weakened the Source, allowing Phoebe to realize through a premonition that he had become evil again. When Phoebe discovered that Cole had turned, Cole decided that he was willing to give his powers as the Source to keep Phoebe and their son. However, the Seer had other plans. The Seer convinced Phoebe that she needed to listen to her unborn child and support her husband. So in the middle of a ceremony Cole was performing to give his powers to someone else. Phoebe, under the influence of the Seer, arrived and killed the demon that Cole was attempting to give the Source's powers to, ruining the ceremony. Cole was then coronated as the new Source with Phoebe at his side, his Queen of the Underworld. While she initially supported him as his Queen, Phoebe quickly realized that as much as she loved him she could not give into evil. With the help of her sisters she vanquished Cole.
When he died, Cole was caught in the wasteland where demons go when they are vanquished. While the Source's power had been devoured by the beast that guards the wasteland, Cole managed to hang on because of his soul. He continued to hang on to his and Phoebe's love, running from the beast in hopes that Phoebe would be able to rescue him. Cole tried to send psychic messages to Phoebe and she would hear his voice whispering in the wind or he would channel his messages through others. Phoebe used a spell to travel to him in the wasteland to tell him that he needed to move on. Initially he refused, but he grew tired of running from the beast and decided to succumb to the monster. Just as he was going to allow himself to be devoured, Cole accidentally stumbled upon the discovery that if he absorbed the powers of vanquished demons before the beast could devour them, he could receive the powers. Through this method Cole managed to pull himself out of the wasteland. He continues to pursue his relationship with Phoebe, even though she does not see much hope for their marriage.
After trying to win Phoebe back but to no avail, Cole became doubtful of whether he can ever regain Phoebe's trust. No matter what good deeds he performed, Phoebe could only see him as a demon. As Cole saw Phoebe moving on with her life, dating and risking her life to save a new boyfriend, Cole sunk deeper into a depression. He received an offer from supernatural beings that are neither good nor evil called avatars, who wished to make him one of them, but Cole turned them away. Eventually, he became so tormented by his own cursed fate, he tried to tempt the sisters into vanquishing him to end his misery, by using a darklighter to put Paige's and Leo's life in danger. When they finally did try to vanquish him, it did not work. Cole has become invincible.
Cole's behavior became more insane in his attempts to gain Phoebe back. He asked a demon to mummify Phoebe so that he might have plenty of time to win back her affection. He also elaborately plotted to gain control of the Nexus under the manor so that when he tapped into it the evil would spread to Phoebe and she would give into their love. In one final effort to win Phoebe back, Cole cast a spell which altered reality, making it so that the power of three had never been reconstituted. He was disappointed to find that in this other reality he was trapped in a loveless married with Phoebe, who only remained his wife to protect Piper from being killed. By altering reality in this way, Cole resumed his former identity of Belthazor, making him vulnerable to being vanquished. Because Paige also crossed realities, she was able to unite with her sisters to vanquish Cole once and for all and reversed the effects of his spell.
I newest member of family - baby Wyaat Halliwell
Piper and Leo's new son, Wyatt, is the newest addition to the Halliwell manor. A prophecy foretold of the birth of a twice-blessed child to be born on a day when three planets aligned on a Wiccan sabbat during the Aurora Borealis and magic would be removed from the world. When Evil discovered the prophecy, they plotted to steal Wyatt, who was destined to be powerful, in order to make him a powerful force for Evil. Fortunately, the sisters managed to keep the baby from falling into the demons' hands.
Powers: Orbing, Telekinetic Orbing, Forcefield—the full extent of his powers is yet unknown
Even though Piper and Leo knew that their child would be very powerful, both were surprised at the reaction to the baby from the demonic community. When two demons offered bounty for Wyatt, the sisters eventually went on the offensive and killed as many demons as possible in order to send a message that demons should not try to harm the baby. To their surprise, a prophetic demon called a Crone informed them that a law would be passed to prevent any further attempts to harm the baby because a war over the child would be detrimental rather than beneficial to evil. While Piper believed the Crone to an extent, the idea that her child had caused such fear in the demonic community troubled her somewhat.
When it came time to name him, Piper and Leo encountered difficulties because throughout Piper's pregnancy they had both assumed that she was having a girl. Leo agreed with Piper that the baby's last name should be Halliwell because of the name's magical significance. Piper eventually thought of the idea of giving him the first name of Wyatt to honor Leo and the middle name of Matthew to honor Paige, after she risked her life to save her nephew from bounty hunters.
Wyatt has been coming very quickly into his powers and the sisters have received an impressions of his full capabilities when he grows older. He created a dragon, which caused a group of magical beings called the Cleaners to try to take him away from Piper, but she managed to persuade them to leave Wyatt with her. He is also the being destined to wield the powerful sword Excalibur, but Piper is trying to keep him away from the sword until he is older.
