I have answered you on my profile and don't know if you have seen it, so here is the essence of my answer:

My fathers uses "propoliteta" always in plural, mostly when he talks about his "propoliteta do malowanio" (things/tools for painting) or sth like "taki tam różne propoliteta" (some various things/tools). I associate it with (small) things and tools that might be useful for some particular purpose.

I hope you did not get offended by sth I wrote previously... If yes, sorry for that.
