Selektor mlade fudbalske reprezentacije Engleske Stjuart Pirs rekao je posle večerašnje utakmice protiv Srbije da je publika na stadionu u Kruševcu na rasnoj osnovi vređala njegovog fudbalera Denija Rouza.
- Mislim da je bio jedan ili dva rasistička incidenta koji su došli sa tribina i oni su prijavljeni Evropskoj fudbalskoj uniji (UEFA). To je sada u njihovim rukama, znaće šta će da urade sa tim - rekao je Pirs za ESPN posle utakmice u Kruševcu.
Engleska je u gostima pobedila Srbiju sa 1:0 i ukupnim rezultatom 2:0 plasirala se na Evropsko prvenstvo za igrače do 21 godine, a odmah posle revanš utakmice u Kruševcu došlo je do sukoba igrača obe ekipe.

England's Under 21 footballers and coaching staff were involved in a mass brawl following racist chanting at a match in Serbia.
The trouble flared when England players were pelted with missiles as they celebrated a late goal before Spurs defender Danny Rose was sent off for kicking the ball into the crowd.
Rose appeared to be subjected to monkey chants from the home supporters as as he left the field of play and responded by putting his thumbs up and then moving both arms under his shoulders in a monkey gesture.
Serbian hooligans were implicated in ugly riots at the Euro 2012 qualifier against Italy in Genoa a year ago, where the match was abandoned after only seven minutes when fans threw flares onto the pitch.

Serbia 'supporters' want to be seen as the 'hard' men of Europe then so be it but ban ALL their teams from events. Not fit to play any sport and Serbia certainly is not a place to go to as a tourist.

Their behaviour seems the same whether they are fighting a war or supposedly playing football. Let's hope the pathetic FA and UEFA for once takes action and kicks them out of any further competition.

Honestly speaking, some of Eastern Europeans need to be dragged into the 21st century even if they're kicking and screaming. Very disgraceful & anachronistic fools! FIFA should suspend them for at least 1 year without an option fine, if they are to be taken seriously.

From my experience the Serbs do not like the West. They still blame us for the horrible state of their country following our planes bombing them, sanctions, etc. I know, I cycled through it. Croatia on the other hand...lovely place and people.

Who would have thought that a nation who was just just 20 years ago was butchering thousands based on their ethic origins and carried out the worst war crimes in Europe since WWII would still be awash with racism? And these thugs are candidates to join the EU! Utter stupidity.
