Pronašao sam Boga u muzici i umetnosti,kod pisaca Hermann Hesse i muzičara poput Muddy Waters, Howlin' Wolf, i Little Walter.Na neki način, u svojoj formi, moj Bog je uvek bio tu,ali sada sam naučio da pričam sa njim.

Muzički,on je kao starac u telu dečaka.

Ja sam uvek bio otporan na doktrine i svaka duhovnost koju sam doživeo do sada u mom životu, bila je mnogo više apstraktna i nije bila uskađena ni sa jednom religijom . Za mene je najviši osećaj za duhovnost uvek dolazio kroz muziku . Sa njom se ne može manipulisati , a kada se to desi, to odmah postaje očigledno.

Gledaući ga,razumeo sam po prvi put kako možeš zaista živeti kroz muziku ,kako je teba slušati i doživeti, da bi ona postala deo tvog života.

Ako mi daš gitaru ja ću svitari bluz.

Bio sam i biću uvek bluz gitarista.

Za mene postoji nešto primitivno umirujuće u ovoj muzici ,što utiče na moj nervni sistem , čineći da se osećam deset metara visok .
