What's the principal difference between the words 'medalja' and 'kolajna' in serbian?

Kolajna meen (on italian "COLLANA") in serbian collar,necklace, metal plate with symbolically sign,image or title;hung on nek with textile tab,give some deservedly person - meen same like medal or better one kin of medal.

I see. Thanks a lot. I have some serbian medals of turky war 1876-1878 in my collection and I respect Serbians. They are courageous and brave people.
