Pre nekoliko dana sam gledao francuski film Ne le dis à personne (2006)
/vrlo dobar, uzgred da na napomenem/ i u tom filmu osim originalne muzike ima i par numera poznatih autora (With or Without You od U2, na primer), a zbog jedne od njih koja mi se dopala i postavljam ovu topik-anketu. Na prvi pogled nije me opčinila sama melodija koliko glas je koji peva. Kasnije sam ustanovio da se radi o pesmi Lilac Wine u izvodjenju Jeff_a Buckley_a. Inače JB je prerano preminuli rok prevač, kompozitor i gitarista čije vokalne mogućnosti je Chris Cornell (Soundgarden, Audioslave) izuzetno cenio i u spomen na koga je komponovao i snimio jednu od najlepših balada ikada (Wave Goodbye).

Istražujući malo saznao sam da je Lilac Wine komponovao i stihove napisao James Shelton 1950. Ovu numeru su snimali mnogi poznati autori medju kojima: Eartha Kitt (prva 1953), Judy Henske, Nina Simone, Sarah Slean, već pomenuti Jeff Buckley i Katie Melua.
