Danas je tačno 23 godine od Columbine-a. Veoma su obeležili moje odrastanje, i oni i ovaj bend. Dvehiljadite su se direktno naslanjale na ovaj čuveni dogadjaj, ali nažalost u balkanskoj rupčagi usled bombardovanja kod nas se nije primila priča o poduhvatu koji je uzdrmao celu Ameriku i zauvek je promenio (kao i dobar deo sveta). Pored poduhvata Timoti MekVeja i ovaj je dogadjaj ušao u američke istorijske udžbenike (što sam svojim očima video, u poglavlju o široj priči oko pitanja oružja u USA). Sam akt anarho-nihilističkog nasilja u Columbine školi izvršen je na isti dan kad je izašao njihov album simboličnog naziva - Adios. Tad su se kupovali diskovi pa je sve to imalo veliku logiku, veliku poruku, i smisao, jer se nije svodila muzika na klik kursora miša.

KMFDM je moj omiljeni bend, pored Ramštajna, NIN, The Doors i još nekih. To nije slučajno, ali pošto je godišnjica, odlučih da otvorim temu o ovom kultnom underground bendu. Tada su zbog Columbine-a stekli ozloglašenost i mračnu slavu, ali ih je to i ubilo u mejnstrimu, kao i Merilina Mensona i još neke povezane sa muzičkih ukusom gospode u trenchcoat-u. Pa nek ovo bude tema sa njihovim pesmama, tekstovima, poetikom... ako neko nije čuo za ovaj bend preporučio bih da posluša ponešto ako želi. Ko već sluša može da se uključi (ako uopšte ima nekog).

Moja omiljena stvar od njih. Mislim da sam je preslušao deset hiljada puta. I danas kad čujem ritam osetim destruktivnu moć kako me šiba iznutra i ogromnu silu haotične volje.

"I think what attracted the shooters to this song was the meaning that I always got from it. It's a song about being a lone wolf, a mechanism for change in the world. A heroic individual if you will, in the Romantic sense. An individual who is at odds with the society around him, and his greatest struggle is to transcend those boundaries which are made by the moral code. To nisam znao, biće interesantno preslušati. Manje su poznati široj publici a savršeno rade taj industrial fazon.

Za njih sam saznao upravo zbog tih obrada, bilo jednom u Metal Hammeru.

Die Krupps

Naravno, jako volim industrial, s tim što mi je KMFDM bio i ostao jedan od omiljenih bendova još od srednje kad sam ih patološki slušao. Imali su izlet u komercijalu sa Juke Joint Jezebel, ali ja baš volim što su i dalje na tragu undergrounda, jako mi se to svidja.

Nazad na temu, jedna od mojih omiljenih... malo kontraverzno ali (po meni) idealna za žestoko drogiranje:

Evo novih stvari od KMFDM, zvuče jako kao i uvek. Ova traka je baš vrhunska, i tekst i sve. Mislim da to što su u ostali u undergroundu njihovim projektima daje snagu i svežinu.
