Some of the protesters broke down metal barriers around Parliament Square and surged onto the green towards Whitehall.

A handful were seen climbing onto a statue of Winston Churchill.

Flares, glass bottles and other missiles have been thrown at police.

Sky's Mark White, at the scene, said some demonstrators have been throwing sticks and glass bottles into the secured police area outside Parliament.

"It has the potential to really get quite ugly here," White warned.

"It's pretty peaceful, there have been sporadic outbursts of pushing and shoving and throwing missiles towards police lines."

But White added there are fears there could be a "real security breach" if the protesters get any closer to Parliament "with students running wild inside the Houses of Parliament".

Najludje je shto su studentkinje u prvim redovima i tuku policajce doshla policija na konjima, vec su dvojica zavrshila na betonu
