pa jel ga izvoze i dalje francuzi u rusiou? a sankcije?Odakle ti to da uopšte ima nekog nuklearnog otpada?
Yes, France has been sending spent uranium to Russia for processing at the Seversk (Tomsk 7) plant in Siberia since at least January 2021. The uranium is then reprocessed and sent back to France for use in some EDF reactors. The French companies EDF and Orano have been involved in these transactions.
The anti-nuclear NGO Greenpeace has documented at least five deliveries between January 2021 and January 2022, including 11 containers loaded in Le Havre in February 2021 and 20 containers loaded in Dunkerque in October 2021. Greenpeace has called for a permanent halt to these exports, condemning the trade despite Russia's invasion of Ukraine. They say that Russia already has a lot of this material and that the French uranium will likely be stored in Seversk indefinitely, producing hazardous waste that can't be treated or recycled.
