Malo su izbrkane engleske i metricke velicine. Inace, najvazniji podatak je kada je usao u serijsku proizvodnju. Nije isto ako je to bilo, na primer, 43, pred pad italije ili 40.

vioni su pravljeni 1943-1945, a Fiat G55 je ponovo poceo da se proizvodi 1947 za Argentinu, Siriju i Egipat sve do 1955 kada je poslednji Mustang rekao "laku noc"
a rezervni delovi do 1965.

Ovde treba reći da se verzija G59 (pravljena za Italiju i Siriju 1949) imala motor Merlin.
Sirija ih je kupovala zbog embarga na oružje za sve zemlje u sukobu na Bliskom istoku, ne zato što su bili nešto preterano oduševljeni, a Italija uglavnom za trenažnu namenu, dok im industrija ne bude spremna za nešto bolje (posle su pravili F86 po licenci).
Verzije pravljene 1946 su G55AM (jednosed) i G55BM (dvosed) za Italiju, Egipat i Argentinu, uglavnom sklapani od preostalih ratnih zaliha. (Egipat je kupio samo oko 10 aviona i to uključujući neke Macchi 205, koliko znam; sve u svemu, relativno male količine)
