Pre nego što stigne njegov naslednik, Peugeot je sadašnji 308 (do sada prodat u više od 900.000 primeraka širom sveta) detaljno obnovio, a zvanična premijera je zakazana za početak marta i Salon automobila u Ženevi (prodaja startuje u aprilu).

Promene su zadesile sve karoserijske varijante 308-ice (hatchback sa 3 i 5 vrata, Coupe-Cabrio i SW karavan, ovaj potonji može da primi i 7 putnika a sa oborenim zadnjim sedištima ima zapreminu prtljažnika do 2149 litara), a izmene su najviše vidljive na prednjem delu automobila.

To u praksi znači da je 308 dobio nova prednja svetla, LED dnevna svetla, redizajniranu haubu, branike i prednji gril, kao i hromiranu lajsnu na prtljažniku kod hatchbacka, širu paletu boja, novi dizajn alu točkova (od 16, 17 i 18 inča), kvalitetnije materijale u modifikovanoj unutrašnjosti, bogatiju standardnu opremi, za 25 kg manju težinu u odnosu na dosadašnju verziju (u proseku) i motore sa smanjenom potrošnjom goriva i emisijom CO2 (posebno se ističe 308 micro-hybrid e-HDi sa Stop & Start tehnologijom i 1.6 HDi dizelašem čija emisija CO2 iznosi 98 grama po kilometru).

Svi verzije u serijskoj opremi između ostalog imaju klima uređaj, ESP sistem, ABS, EBFD, EBA, el. podizače stakala, centralno daljinsko zaključavanje i najmanje šest vazdušnih jastuka.

The company says that the SLC is a luxury sports crossover. Despite its stubby and somewhat odd proportions, this thing should be a blast to drive. According to reports, under the hood sits a 524-horsepower V8 engine, though buyers should be able to also opt for either a 296-horsepower V6 or a 247-horsepower turbodiesel six-pot should their hearts – or wallets – so desire.
De Tomaso says that the SLC Concept will bow at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show next month and that we can expect a production run of around 3,000 units starting next year. The price tag for this fine piece of machinery is expected to sit at a cool €85,000

Renault ha released the details and images of the Renault Megane RS N4 - their new rally car designed for private racing teams. The Renault Megane RS N4 is powered by a 2.0-liter, 4-cylinder, turbo petrol engine developing 270 hp and 340Nm of torque. Apart from the extra power, the Renault Megane RS N4 comes with an Ohlins suspension system and a limited slip differential.
GROUP N: THE SPIRIT OF PRIVATEER RACING

According to the FIA, which determines the technical regulations, group N is open to mass production cars, more than 2,500 identical units of which must be produced over a period of 12 consecutive months. Created in 1982, group N is the category in which the cars are the closest to production models. The regulations permit very few limited modifications in order to keep costs down. Only minor modifications can be made to the engine, for example, compared to the production version - the ECU and exhaust line can be modified in accordance with strict rules. In order to guarantee reliability, the gearbox inners may be specific, but must be mounted in the original casing.

MEGANE RENAULTSPORT + GROUP N = MEGANE RENAULTSPORT N4

When developing Megane Renaultsport N4, Renault Sport Technologies drew on the performance of the production model to derive a car which both performs and is economical to run, all in the spirit of the Group N regulations. Drivers will be in a position to achieve top-class results on tarmac, all within a reasonable and controlled budget. With 265hp to be transferred to the front wheels, the suspension on the Megane Renaultsport N4 had to be impeccable. Thanks to the PerfoHub set-up and the very latest-generation shock absorbers, roadholding and traction are both equally impressive.

STEER TO PERFECTION

First used at the end of the 1980s on the Superproduction version of the R21 Turbo, the independent steering-axis front axle was first introduced on a production car on the Megane Renaultsport. By allowing the suspension and steering to work totally independently of each other, this mechanism allows MeganeRenaultsport N4 to benefit from handling and grip of the highest quality.

THE LATEST IN SUSPENSION SYSTEMS

Designed in conjunction with Öhlins, the suspension consists of four spring-shock absorbers using the most recent technologies available. The hydraulic rebound shock absorbers are three-way adjustable (high and low-speed compression, rebound). This allows for a vast range of settings to fit the road profile, level of grip, weather conditions and driving style. The quality of these suspension systems allows drivers to get the most out of the BF Goodrich tyres, mounted on 18-inch rims, and release their full potential on long special stages.

BRAKE SYSTEM

At the front, Megane Renaultsport N4 is fitted with 355mm-diameter discs and four-piston one-piece calipers. At the rear, the grooved disc taken from the standard production model is fitted with double-piston fixed calipers. As required by racing regulations, the ABS is disabled. Inside the cabin, a limiter system allows the driver to control rear braking pressure. In accordance with the regulations, the master cylinder and pedal assembly are taken from the production model. Essential on hairpins, a vertical lever-operated hydraulic handbrake has been added to the standard braking system.

ENGINE AND GEARBOX: AT THE HEART OF EVERY RENAULT SPORT

One of the major strengths to be carried over from MeganeRenaultsport250 is the F4Rt 1998 cc 16-valve turbocharged engine. With no specific preparation performed on its internal parts, Renault Sport Technologies guarantees control over budget and engine reliability. The main developments are to the engine flywheel and the electronic engine management system developed by Cosworth Electronics to enhance performance despite the adoption of a regulation 33mm turbo restrictor. The engine on the Megane Renaultsport N4 generates a maximum power output of 265hp from 4000 rpm and maximum torque of 470 Nm at 3000 rpm. In order to optimise performance on special stages, the air intercooler can be sprayed with water. The specific exhaust line incorporates a catalytic converter compliant with FIA standards and an expansion chamber.

GEARBOX SPECIFIC TO THE COMPETITION VERSION

In order to guarantee reliability, the gearbox is the component on which there is the most room for specific preparation. The regulations impose an H layout and the fitting of the gearbox in its original casing.

The gearbox on Megane Renaultsport N4 is fitted with a self-locking limited slip differential (disc and ramp, «ZF»-type LSD). Several final torque settings enable the final gear ratios to be adjusted according to the specific characteristics of each event. The specific clutch system is supplied by AP Racing. The gearbox is also cooled by an oil radiator.

SAFETY: NO COMPROMISE

A priority in every phase of design and development, safety is an essential part of all the production and competition models developed by Renault Sport Technologies.

The Megane Renaultsport monocoque has been strengthened and stiffened to bring both active and passive safety close to perfection. The bodyshell is fitted with a welded roll cage, which is compliant with FIA regulations and has been validated by static load calculations. In the cabin, all the compulsory safety equipment is supplied by Sabelt. Two bucket seats fitted with HANS-compatible six-point harnesses, as well as an electrically-controlled automatic fire extinguisher system and a cut-out switch are all included as standard in the Megane Renaultsport N4 racing kit.

DESIGN AND ERGONOMICS: THE RENAULT SPORT BADGE

Echoing the same sculpted design seen on Megane Renaultsport250, the rally version emphasises the production model’s naturally sporty looks. The only addition is the roof-mounted air intake incorporated into the external lines of the car to distinguish the competition version from the production model. Benefiting from the assuredly sporty look of Megane Renaultsport250, the N4 version also features the front bumper with an integrated F1-style aerodynamic blade. The centrally-positioned exhaust outlet and rear diffuser also emphasize its shared pedigree with the Megane Renaultsport. The 18-inch alloy wheels, fitted with BFGoodrich tyres, means the aggressive overall lines have been retained. In the cockpit, once seated in the Sabelt bucket seats, driver and co-driver will find the production dashboard and central console. In addition to the standard equipment, the dashboard on the Megane Renaultsport N4 also features an LCD screen which provides all the essential information on how the engine is running, as well as a tripmaster and LEDs for optimised gear changes.

Ferrari FF predstavljen u Maranellu

Italijanski Ferrari je u Maranellu održao promociju svog novog modela FF sa četiri sedišta i sa pogonom na sva četiri točka, koji će biti izložen i na predstojećem Salonu automobila u Ženevi.

Podsećanja radi, Ferrari FF (Ferrari Four, dizajn Pininfarina) je GT automobil u tzv. shooting brake formi, sa motorom smeštenim napred, pogon je na sva četiri točka (4RM – "Ruote Motrici"), ima četiri sedišta, a za pogon je izabran 6,3 litarski V12 motor sa 660KS pri 8000 o/min. i 683 Nm obrtnog momenta pri 6000 o/min. (u paru sa sedmostepenim menjačem sa duplim kvačilom).

Po fabričkim podacima, Ferrari FF od 0 do 100 km/h ubrzava za 3,7 sekunde, postiže maksimalnih 335 km/h, u proseku troši 15,4 litara goriva na 100 km i emituje 360 grama CO2 po kilometru.

Koenigsegg Agera R na Salonu u Ženevi

Švedski Koenigsegg je za prošlogodišnji ženevski salon automobila pripremio svetsku premijeru svog novog modela nazvanog Agera, dok će ove godine na istom mestu predsatviti i njegovu jaču, R varijantu.

"Standardna" Agera (dužine 4293 mm, širine 1996 mm, visine 1120 mm, težina 1290 kg) ima V8 motor sa 910KS i 1100 Nm obrtnog momenta, 0-100 km/h ubrzava za samo 3,1 sekundu, dok se za maksimalnu brzinu navodi da iznosi 390+ km/h.

Novu Ageru R pokreće 5,0 litarski V8 agregat sa 1115KS što ovaj model čini najjačim Koenigseggom ikada. U vesti se nažalost ne navode performanse Agere R.

Poznato je još da Agera R ima težinu od 1330 kg i da može da koristi i E85 gorivo, kao i to da će Agera R biti za 132.000 funti skuplja od "standardne" Agere sa 910 konja (koja inače košta 875.000 funti).

Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 : prve slike iz Ženeve

81. Salon automobila u Ženevi počinje sledeće nedelje, ali je sajt Autogespot.com i pre zvaničnog otvaranja objavio prvi set fotografija Lamborghinija Aventador LP700-4, snimljenih na štandu italijanske marke u Ženevi.

Red je takođe da se podsetimo na zvanične detalje o novom sportisti i njegovom 6,5 litarskom V12 agregatu.

Ovaj V12 motor (težak 235 kg) naime razvija 515kW/700KS pri 8250 o/min. i 690 Nm obrtnog momenta pri 5500 o/min., u kombinaciji sa sedmostepenom Graziano ISR ("Independent Shifting Rod") transmisijom.

Zahvaljujući upotrebi ugljeničnih vlakana, novi Lamborghini je težak 1575 kg (raspored težine 43% napred i 57% nazad, odnos težina/snaga je 2,25 kg po KS), emisija CO2 iznosi 398 grama po km, potrošnja goriva po navodima fabrike iznosi 17,2 litara na 100 km, dok se za zaustavljanje brine kočioni sistem sa diskovima 400x38 mm napred i 380x38 mm pozadi.

Takođe, novi Lamborghini će od 0 do 100 km/h ubrzavati za manje od 3 sekunde (tačnije - 2,9 sec), dok će maksimalna brzina iznositi 350 km/h.

Poznate su i dimenzije; dužina 4780 mm, širina 2030 mm (sa retrovizorima 2265 mm), visina 1136 mm, međuosovinsko rastojanje 2700 mm, rezervoar za gorivo je zapremine 90 litara, a točkovi su od 19 i 20 inča (gume 255/35 R19 napred i 335/30 R20 pozadi).
