Ratni zločini Hamasa nad Palestincima

Militantna grupa Hamas počinila je ratne zločine nad palestinskim civilima u Pojasu Gaze tokom rata prošle godine sa Izraelom, navodi se u izveštaju grupe "Amnesti internešenel".
"Snage Hamasa provele su brutalnu kampanju otmica, mučenja i ubistava Palestinaca optužnih za saradnju sa Izraelom tokom izraelske vojne ofanzive protiv Gaze", navodi se u izveštaju, objavljenom danas.

"Amnesti" je izneo niz jezivih slučajeva u kojima su Palestinci, optuženi za pomaganje Izraelu, surovo mučeni i ubijeni.

"Uprava Hamasa dala je svojim snagama bezbednosti "odrešene ruke" u zlostavljanja Palestinaca. Slučajevi od kojima vam se diže kosa na glavi u rangu su ratnih zločina, a njihov cilj je bio odmazda i uterivanje straha na teritoriji Pojasa Gaze", navodi se u izveštaju.

Hamas kontroliše Pojas Gaze, priobalnu enklavu na Sredozemlju, na granici sa Egiptom i Izraelom.

Portparol Hamasa Favzi Barhum kritikovao je izveštaj kao nefer, amaterski i neverodostojan.

"Izveštaj je usmeren protiv palestinskog otpora i pokreta Hamas, namerno preuveličava pravo stanje, ne uzimajući u obzir sve strane u sukobu i ne proveravajući istinitost informacija i pojedinosti", rekao je Barhum.

Mislim da se o tim zločinima ne priča toliko koliko se pričalo o navodnim zločinima Srba.

These are among the allegations made Wednesday against the Palestinian group Hamas in a damning new report by the international human rights watchdog Amnesty International.

During last year's Gaza conflict, which took place in July and August, Hamas used the chaos to settle scores and carry out "horrific abuses . . . some of which amount to war crimes" against fellow Palestinians, said Philip Luther, director of the Middle East and North Africa program at Amnesty International.

'Brutal campaign'
The report alleges that Hamas forces waged "a brutal campaign of abductions, torture and unlawful killings" against Palestinians it accused of collaborating with Israel. But some of the victims were supporters of Fatah, Hamas' political rival.

Hamas is a Palestinian Islamic organization that operates in the Palestinian territories and elsewhere in the Middle East. It controls Gaza, while Fatah, a secular party, controls the West Bank.

The U.S. State Department has included Hamas on its official list of foreign terrorist organizations since 1997.

Amnesty: Killings in public, with children watching
Among the allegations made in the Amnesty report:

• Hamas forces carried out "the extrajudicial execution of at least 23 Palestinians" and the arrest of dozens of others.

• Six men were killed by Hamas forces outside al-Omari mosque in Gaza's Old City "in front of hundreds of spectators including children."

• Palestinians abducted by Hamas "were subjected to torture, including severe beatings with truncheons, gun butts, hoses and wire or held in stress positions."

"It is absolutely appalling that, while Israeli forces were inflicting massive death and destruction upon the people of Gaza, Hamas took the opportunity to ruthlessly settle scores, carrying out a series of unlawful killings and other grave abuses," Luther said.

No action has been taken against the perpetrators, the report said.

"Not a single person has been held accountable for the crimes committed by Hamas forces against Palestinians during the 2014 conflict, indicating that these crimes were either ordered or condoned by the authorities," Amnesty said.

Hamas' military wing, Izzedine al Qassam, was responsible for many abuses, according to the report.

'His arms and legs were broken'
It cited the case of Atta Najjar, a former Palestinian police officer who had a mental disability. Najjar was serving a 15-year prison term after having been convicted of collaborating with Israel, Amnesty reported.

On August 22, Najjar was taken from prison and killed, according to Amnesty.

His brother retrieved the body.

"There were marks of torture and bullet shots on his body," the report quoted the brother as saying. "His arms and legs were broken ... His body was as if you'd put it in a bag and smashed it. ... And from behind the head -- there was no brain. Empty."

Torture and cruel treatment of detainees in an armed conflict is a war crime, Luther said.

Amnesty called on the Palestinian authorities, including the Hamas administration in Gaza, to cooperate with independent investigations, among them one conducted by the Commission of Inquiry set up by the U.N. Human Rights Council in July.

Amnesty International је недавно објавио извештај у коме се наводи да су припадници Хамаса у јулу и августу прошле године извршили кампању незаконитих отмица, мучења и убистава Палестинаца осумњичених за ''колаборацију'' са Израелом, али и оних који су подржавали ривалску политичку организацију Фатах. Извештај, у коме се описују свирепа убиства 23 Палестинца и отмице и мучења још неколико десетина њих, је привукао доста пажње јавности, обзиром да је Amnesty International раније углавном био познат по критикама на рачун Израела, али не и Хамаса.
У извештају је објашњено како је Хамас приликом испитивања отетих лица иста мучио у напуштеном делу комплекса болнице Ал Шифа у Појасу Газе, чак и док су у осталим деловима болнице биле вршене уобичајене медицинске делатности. Ово је врло значајан детаљ јер показује како је Хамас у току конфликта са Израелом злоупотребљавао цивилни објекат, чинећи га легитимном војном метом. Израел је током прошлогодишње операције ''Заштитна ивица'' био изложен снажним критикама међународне јавности због наводног дејствовања по цивилним објектима, што су израелски војни званичници правдали чињеницом да је Хамас бројне цивилне објекте користио у војне сврхе, углавном као складишта наоружања и упоришне тачке. Сада је значајан доказ у овом правцу пружио доскорашњи противник израелског наратива, тј. Amnesty International. Штавише, ова организација је у свом најновијем извештају изјавила и да ''сада поседује више информација о броју палестинских жртава ракетних напада Хамаса извршених у Појасу Газе'', као и да ''нове информације показују да је од ракета Хамаса погинуло много више Палестинаца него што се раније сматрало''.
Иначе, према званичним ставовима лидера Хамаса, наслина смрт (''марг'') је као метод политичке борбе резервисана само за немуслимане, а убиство муслимана од руке муслимана се сматра тешким злочином. Ипак, прагматични лидери ове терористичке организације за потребе прљавих послова користе милитантно крило Хамаса, познато под називом Из ад Дин ал Касам бригаде (чији су припадници иначе и осумњичени за злочине које је обелоданио Amnesty International). Тачан број припадника ове формације познат је само лидерима Хамаса, мада се процењује да их има између 20 и 40 хиљада, од чега срж чини свега неколико стотина добро опремљених и обучених бораца.
