In response to Obama’s comment that the Russian PM is caught “with one foot in the old way of doing business and the other in the new” Mr. Putin said “We stand with both feet firmly on the ground, looking always to the future! This is one of Russia’s essential qualities. And it is this that has always enabled Russia to move forward and get stronger! And that is how it will be in the future; I have no doubt about it!”
