    C se u latinskom jeziku ispred e- glasa (e,ae,oe) i i- glasa (i,y) chita kao C,a u svim ostalim sluchajevima kao K :shock:

    Ja zaista ne znam u kom kontekstu to moze da bude "prvorazredno mesto"!!!!!!!!!!!
    Locus classicus je, verovatno, iz vojne terminologije...prevesti odvojeno je jako tesko.Ipak, skoro da ne verujem da moze da da bilo kakvu odrednicu koja se tice "prvog" reda ili razreda!

    da, otprilike to znaci, s tim sto se to odnosi na prvo, najmocnije mesto u hijerarhiji. Otprilike bi se odnosilo na vladara jedne drzave u odnosu na podanike.

    Otkud to, grofice? Iz srednjovekovnog latinineta? Ne bih rekla. Mislim da je ovo iz nekog teksta vezanog za vojsku ili mornaricu. Ok, u srednjovekovnom, mozda bi i moglo da se tice vladara...Ako ti nije problem, objasni preciznije, volela bih da cujem razlog takvog misljenja.

    Ne znam na sta se to odnosilo u anticko doba, ali izucavajuci pomocne istorijske nauke, konkretno latinsku paleografiju naisla sam na jedan tekst pisan merovingikom u kome je upotrebljen ovaj izraz, a iz konteksta se videlo da se odnosi na upravnika gaue (zupanije) u odnosu na one koji su nizeg ranga od njega.

    Ok...ne samo da je steta, nego je i greh prevoditi latinski na srpski posredstvom engleskog (kad ti je vec srpski maternji).Drugim recima, ti Englezi ,umesto da se sepure po Oxfordskim kabinetima, trebalo bi da se bave JEZIKOM.
    Naravno, ovo je vise sala (za sepurenje), ali (vrlo) zbilja za jezik.
    Ok, u srednjovekovnom latinitetu... mozda imas pravo (za "locus classicus"), ja ne znam srednjovekovne titule , ni hijerarhiju!
    Al' (savet) ne oslanjaj se mnogo na engleski prevod latinskog!

    Ne oslanjam se ja preterano na engleski, jer znam latinski ucila sam ga i u gim i na faxu. Medjutim, mogu da primetim da je ovaj prevod ovih izraza na engleski dobar, usudila bih se da kazem i precizan (naravno gledano van svakog konteksta). Ovo sam dala cisto zbog toga sto racunam da je ljudima danas blizi engleski od latinskog ili bar vecina ima recnik engleskog jezika kod kuce, sto se za latinski recnik, slozices se, ne bi bas reklo. A i drugo, ljudi sve cesce na forumu postavljaju pitanja tipa sta znaci taj i taj izraz na latinskom, tako da uz malo truda mogu i sami da dodju do srpskog prevoda. Naravno, mogla sam sad ja da im sve to prevedem i na srpski, ali iskreno mrzi me. Dosta i to sto sam malo googlala za njih.

    Sta da ti kazem, sem SVAKA CAST! Ja sam studirala latinski cetiri godine - prilicno uspesno, kazu razni doktori i profesori - (ono smesno gimnazijsko znanje i ne racunam), ali se ne bih usudila da kazem da ga "znam"...
    Sad, il' je zivot nekom' majka nekom maceha , il' ti i ja imamo malo drugacije kriterijume vrednosti...

    HVALA NA PRIZNANJU!!! NEMA STA JA SAM NAJPAMETNIJA........MA SALIM SE NARAVNO.

    Ne moras bas da se hvatas za svaku moju rec skroz bukvalno. Latinski odlicno zna samo onaj kome je to maternji jezik, a takvih danas kao sto znas nema (a i da ima ne bih bas mogla da stavim ruku u vatru da ga i oni super znaju). Mada poprilicno ga znam, ako pogledamo koliko ga ljudi danas u ovoj zemlji pa i sire bar malo poznaje. Tebi svaka cast, sigurno ga znas MNOOGO bolje od mene, kad si to studirala.

    Namera mi je jedino bila da totalnim laicima bar malo olaksam put do prevoda latinskih izraza, a ne da se sepurim da sam najpametnija. A ti draga moja, ako ti ovo nije po volji, imas spisak izraza pa lepo sedi prevedi sve to na nas maternji bey posredstva engleskog. Pa nema sta to je za tebe prava sitnica, dosad si to mogla tri puta da uradis umesto da ti i ja vodimo prazne polemike.

    Pa da. Sve to kosta vremena i truda, zbog i kazem da je od mene dosta i to sto sam malo googlala. Zato me malo nervira kad neko stalno kritikuje neciji rad i trud, a nista ne preduzima da doprinese tom radu. Da pljuje moze svako. To ti je kao kad objavis knjigu iz neke strucne oblasti, a kolege te onda pljuju i pljuju i pljuju, a nikako da bar jedan od njih sedne i napise bolju.

    P.S.
    Boze sacuvaj, ni ja ne mislim da je ovo svadja, to je ipak samo malo ostrija polemika.

    ...to, kod pisanja knjige...si u pravu...ima samo jos jedna sitnica : neki od nas vise vole pravilo "bolje nista, nego bilo sta" od onog "daj sta das"...
    Jos jednom ti kazem...stvar je u kriterijumu.
