Hey Folks,
I wanted to take a brief moment to write a little bit about what Hailing Frequency is and to invite folks at this wonderful community to visit our website and forums.
Hailing Frequency started out in March 2005 was and currently is the only podcast on the internet that is 100% dedicated to Star Trek Gaming.
Every two weeks, we broadcast a new podcast live, via our streaming shoutcast server which is subsequently posted on our RSS Feed which is tied into I-Tunes and dozens of other podcast websites.
The podcast features all of the latest Star Trek Gaming Discussion, Interviews with Star Trek Game Developers both Official and Unofficial, Star Trek Gaming Themed, Creative Commons Music, competitions and tons of other features such as "Mod Weekly" which reviews the best mods for Star Trek Games and "Fleet Radio" - which is a look at how streaming radio and content might be handled in the upcoming Star Trek Online.
We are credited with having some of the biggest Star Trek Online interviews and new sources in the last 3 years - with credits on Massively.com ( http://www.massively.com/2008/08/12/podcast-interviews-two-star-trek-o nline-guys-gets-lots-of-new-i/ ), WarCry (http://sto.warcry.com/news/view/82285-Star-Trek-Timeline-at-Hailing-Fr equency) and dozens of other popular news websites which have recognized us as the premier place to be for Star Trek Gaming Related News and Information.
We also allow any Star Trek Gaming related website, clan, mod, fan game, etc to advertise on our podcast free of charge - All you have to do is send in an audio clip via our website.
In the last year and a half, we have also steadily built up a popular forum community at our website - http://www.hailingfrequency.co.uk which serves as a portal for all of our ventures which include the podcast of course, as well as one of the LARGEST Star Trek Gaming Screenshot Galleries on the Internet, A Downloads Database which features gigabytes of official patches and fan games and much more.
