Suočavajući se sa nedostatkom pilota, američka mornarica je primenila iskustvo armijskog vazduhoplovstva iz Drugog svetskog rata: uvela je leteće podoficire. Trenutno je u letačkoj školi 14 podoficira iz sastava mornarice. Oni se neće obučavati za pilote lovce, ali će leteti na izvidjačkim avionima, helikopterima...

Uslovi za "krila" su: dve godine koledža, čin nivo E5-E7, te da je mladji od 27 godina.

Pod tačkama ugovora, nedavno potpisanog izmedju Malezije i Indije, Indija će pomoći Maleziji u obuci pilota i tehničkog osoblja, kao i da će održavati malezijske Suhoje u sopstvenim remontnim kapacitetima.
Ovaj bilateralni ugovor je potpisan prvog dana trodnevne posete indijskog ministra odbrane Maleziji, koja je započela 6. januara.

Tako će Indija obučiti 55 pripadnika malezijskog vazduhoplovstva, i to 15 pilota i 40 avio mehaničara.

Rusija je ponovo pokrenula proizvodnju teških bombardera. Napravljen je najmanje jedan Tu-160, čiji su probni letovi počeli prošlog meseca. Proizvodnja aviona Tu-160 prekinuta je 1994. godine, sa nekoliko nedovršenih primeraka u proizvodnim halama. Nakon kolapsa SSSR-a 1991. godine, mnoge fabrike NVO su zatvorene. Kao razlog zatvaranja fabrika navodi se smanjenje vojnog budžeta, tako da su u funkciji ostale samo one fabrike koje su pravile i naoružanje za izvoz. Činjenica je da su svi proizvodni pogoni sačuvani, tako da će moći da nastave tamo gde su zastale 1991. godine.

Prošlog leta, ruski teški bombarderi su izvršili nekoliko letova i misija, od kojih se naročito izdvaja dopunjavanje gorivom u letu, noću.

SAD su ponudile da prodaju Indiji verziju aviona F-16 koja ima mogućnost superkrstarenja. Pre trideset godina, proizvodjači aviona F-16 su, uz neke izmene na konstrukciji, proizveli verziju F-16IN koja ima mogućnost superkrstarenja. Ovaj mod je u stvari let supersoničnim brzinama bez upotrebe dopunskog sagorevanja goriva. Ovaj koncept je ostavljen po strani, jer u to vreme nije bilo potrebe za takvom verzijom. Dekadu kasnije, kada su se u razvoju našli avioni F-22 i F-35, ponovo je predstavljeno superkrstarenje.
Tako će Indija dobiti znatno kvalitetniji avion od Pakistana, a moguće je da će se videti i u realnom sukobu...

Sastavljen prvi 777 Freighter

SEATTLE, Jan. 29, 2008 -- Boeing [NYSE: BA] mechanics began major assembly of the new 777 Freighter at the company's Everett, Wash., facility today. The 777 Freighter will fly farther and provide more capacity than any other twin-engine cargo airplane.

"We are excited to begin production of the 777 Freighter so we can put the airplane into service with our customers," said Larry Loftis, vice president, 777 Program, Boeing Commercial Airplanes. "The 777 Freighter's unmatched range, efficiency and capacity as a twin-engine cargo airplane will significantly enhance our customers' ability to deliver freight."

Workers took the first step in major assembly for the new 777 Freighter by loading its 97-foot-long wing spar into a tool that automatically drills, measures and installs more than 5,000 fasteners into the spar. The spar is the internal support structure that runs through the full length of the wings and provides support to the wing.

The first 777 Freighter will be delivered to launch customer Air France in the fourth quarter of 2008. "Our vision to develop the 777 Freighter as the world's most capable twin-engine cargo airplane is now becoming a reality with the start of major assembly," said Kim Pastega, deputy program manager and engineering leader, 777 Freighter Program. "Our customers and suppliers worked closely with us to reach this important milestone." In addition to its unmatched range and capacity, the main cargo-deck door of the 777 Freighter is sized to facilitate easy direct-transfer shipments with the 747 freighter fleet, which provides about half of the world's freighter capacity.

Pastega said the 777 Freighter has been well received by the marketplace, with a customer base that includes traditional cargo carriers and leasing operators. To date, Boeing has sold 80 777 Freighters to 11 customers, accounting for more than 20 percent of the 777 Program's current backlog.

The 777 Freighter is based on the 777-200LR Worldliner passenger airplane and will be built along the same production line as all other models of the 777. Some of the changes in manufacturing for the 777 Freighter include installation of items such as the main-deck cargo door; a new monolithic aluminum floor; an enhanced, lightweight cargo-handling system with built in test equipment that continually monitors the operational health of the system; and a rigid cargo barrier located in the forward section of the airplane.

Other design changes to the 777 Freighter include the strengthening of certain airplane structure, a maneuver load alleviation system to help distribute the load on the airplane in flight and the removal of certain passenger-related items such as windows and doors.

The 777 Freighter will have a range of 4,885 nautical miles (9,045 km) with a full payload and general cargo market densities. With a maximum takeoff weight of 766,000 pounds (347,450 kilograms), the 777 Freighter will have a revenue payload capability of more than 226,000 pounds (103 metric tons).

The 777 Freighter is the sixth and newest model of the 777 family of airplanes. The airplane will be powered by the GE-90-110B1L engine.

The 777 family of airplanes is the market leader in the 300-to-400-seat segment and is preferred by airlines around the world because of its fuel efficiency, reliability and spacious passenger cabin. To date, Boeing has received more than 1,040 orders for the 777 from 55 customers worldwide.

Britanci su pozajmili od SAD 2 letelice C-135 Rivet Joint kako bi popunili prazninu u redovima izvidjačke avijacije. Avioni će imati zajedničke posade, ali će biti obojeni u boje britanskog RAF-a. Praznina u redovima RAF-a nastala je kada su Britanci redukovali letenje aviona Nimrod, koji su korišćeni i za elektronsko izvidjanje. Uzrok zabrane letenja leži u starosti letelica koje su proizvedene šezdesetih godina na osnovi putničkih aviona Comet.

Jedan Nimrod se srušio 2006. godine u Avganistanu zbog problema sa curenjem goriva, te je i preostalih 18 aviona proglašeno prestarim za popravku koja će biti kraća od generalnog remonta. Remont traje dugo, a Britancima su potrebni izvidjači. Tako je kao najlakše rešenje donet dogovor o pozajmici dva aviona sa mešovitim posadama.
Posade Nimroda su nezadovoljne ovakvim rešavanjem problema, podsećajući da su bili marginalizovani kada su upozoravali na vek Nimroda i potrebu za remontima.

Iz Boeingove fabrike izasao je 1400-ti model 747!

Skoro tacno 49 godina posle prvog leta (9. februar 1969.), iz proizvodne hale na Paine Field-u izasao je 1400-ti Boeing 747. Ocekuje se da ce se linija za proizvodnju modela 747-400 zatvoriti posle jos 20-ak proizvedenih aviona, a da ce se aktivirati ponovo kada pocne proizvodnja modela 747-800. U poslednje vreme proizvodjena su tri modela 747 svaka dva meseca.

Final Assembly Begins on Another Boeing 787 Dreamliner
Second Flight Test Airplane Loaded into First Position
EVERETT, Wash., Feb. 15, 2008 -- Final assembly started today on the second flight-test airplane for the all-new Boeing [NYSE: BA] 787 Dreamliner.

Loaded snugly into the first position of the 787 production system, workers in the Everett, Wash.-based factory can now begin joining together the fuselage sections and wings. All major joins take place in this position. While this is the second of six flight-test airplanes, this Dreamliner is actually the fourth on the production line. It follows the two airplanes that will be used for static and fatigue testing.

"We've received significantly less 'traveled work' on this airplane," said Steve Westby, vice president of 787 Final Assembly and Change Incorporation. "The degree of completeness of sections at the partners is significantly better than Airplane #1. Condition of assembly is much better and we will see continued improvements on the condition of each assembly shipped. All this helps to bring us back into alignment with the original design of our production system."

Production is going well on subsequent airplanes, too. Currently 21 airplanes are in various stages of production. This number includes the static and fatigue airplanes, which will not be delivered to customers. Since its launch in April 2004, the 787 Dreamliner has amassed 857 firm orders valued at $144 billion from 56 airlines.

Dosta sam dobro informisan o svemu tome.Nego onaj .pdf -TEST ZNANJA na sajtu VA,da li ce ta pitanja biti (kao prijemni za srednju gde imas zbirke i to spremis) ili su to dali onako da se vide koja ce otprilike pitanja biti-a ako je tako onda stvarno ima dosta da se sprema!!!!!!

Зар нема ништа ново

Paaaa....ima...i to sto je novo nije bas dobro...prema Steven Udvar-Hazy-u prvi let B-787 se nece desiti pre jseni, a prve isporuke ne pre septembra 2009.

A-380 je imao poprilicna kasnjenja (blizu ovim ili cak veca), navodno je osnovni krivac bila CATIA, tj, inkompatibilnost verzija koje su koristile razlicita design studia...poznajuci software usudjujem se da kazem da je to veoma malo verovatno, ili cak nemoguce, mada posto ne poznajem Electrical Cabling i Harness module, ne mogu da tvrdim. Ko 787 nije CATIA problem...nadam se da nisu ni fasteneri kako su neki tvrdili.
