THQ has announced that its in-house UK developer, Juice Games, is hard at work on Juiced 2: Hot Import Nights. As the name suggests, Juiced has picked up the Hot Import Nights U.S. custom car show license, so expect to see tons of tricked out rides, traveling at the usual breakneck speeds.

Juiced 2 is expected to make its way onto the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Playstation 2, PSP, Nintendo DS, and -- last but not least -- PC this fall. THQ says the title, "allows players to test their skills at live street racing events against a back-drop of DJs, fashion, models and musicians." New features in the game include Driver DNA, which essentially maps your preferences and driving style onto a profile, which will be available for download online, helping you get the leg up on the competition. THQ also said that it plans to offer celebrity profiles, likely to endorse events like Xbox Live's "Game with Fame." Other additions come in the form of drift and powerslide races.

"Juiced 2: HIN introduces a thrilling new drifting component and lets players personalize their experience both on and offline with ultra realistic Driver DNA," said Colin Bell, general manager, Juice Games. "In addition to a ton of exciting new features, we've significantly expanded the rewarding driving experience, track choice and customization our fans have come to expect."

It sounds a bit like THQ is trying to steal some of the thunder from EA's Need for Speed series, which continually flies off of store shelves. Time will tell if they'll succeed.

Release Date Fall 2007
