Крст са огњилима се налази на скуптури са леве стране јужне капије коју је направио немачки архитекта и скулптор Бастиан Крамер[] између 1530. и 1535. године на улазу у Residenzschloß у Старом граду[Altstadt] испред најпознатијег градског трга, тзв. Шлосплаца (Schloßplatz)..Drezden.
Bastian Kramer war ein kurfürstlich-sächsischer Hofsteinmetz und Architekt, der in Dresden von 1527 bis 1553 tätig war und u.a. das Georgentor von 1530 bis 1535 erbaute.
The old city exit to the Elbebridge, the Elbedoor of the city fortress, was altered from 1530 to 1535 by the master builder Bastian Kramer under the Inspector of Hans von Dehn-Rothfelser to the so-called Georgentor. It was the first Renaissance building of Dresden, still before the rebuilding of the residence castle, indeed, with reminiscences to the lombardische architecture.
